I am still holding onto the title of the peice of music on the soundtrack that is used for the 're-intergration' scene. It is called 'Flynn Lives', though the scene the music was scored for is the complete opposite ( Flynn seems to die in a digital explosion with CLU!).

I have hope. Kevin needs to continue to be a part of this somehow...visually.
I always considered it to be an ironic title. Kevin dies, but "Flynn", his son Sam lives. The Flynn name lives on!

(ahem) Kevin Flynn IS alive but fragmented. It's confirmed by the director himself by a recent interview. Oh, and Tron IS alive as well. He confirms this, too. So if those two still live, then that must mean. . . .OH, YES. . .The Program, The Rebel Named Clu shall return!!

Let's get back to reality, Kevin Flynn is dead and so is Tron. They have passed the baton to Sam (no pun intended) and now it's his story. End of line.

Kevin Flynn is NOT dead. Not even Tron. Go READ the Kozinski interview. He confirms things in there that they're not dead.

Why would they kill off Kevin and Tron? Not the best idea to knock off your two most well-known characters.

Flynn and Tron are senior citizens and old people do not draw tween and teen ticket sales. Marketing departments run everything nowdays, so do not rule out the inclusion of Justin Bieber and other teen idols to be involved in Tron 3.

Because Hollywood is in the pitful state of being unable to come up with orignal ideas and can now only do remakes and sequels IMO, they will bring Flynn back in either of these 2 ways:

1) Use the force Sam! Flynn would appear as a ghostly entity to give Sam advice, or they could go cheap and have him appear ala Dexter's dad.

2) Process long and calculate. The explosion on the grid was just like the Genesis Device in Star Trek III. Flynn magically gets reborn with ISO dna and gets to relive his life over again. abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

There are people out there that are able to make good movies with an older cast. Given the people likely to be working on this, however, your point does have validity, I'm afraid. If only they'd ditch the writers of Legacy and get a better group. Not likely that will happen, sadly.

#2 seems more likely. I've already suspected either a Star Trek III or Matrix I style return of Flynn.

I disagree about Tron - at the end of Legacy, his circuits changed from red-orange to blue-white, hinting that he may still be alive.

I think the next Tron film will focus on Sam vs. Dillinger Jr, with some side plots including Quorra, Flynn Sr (in some form), Alan, Roy, "RAM" Kleinberg, MCP 2.0/Dillinger Sr., and of course, Sam merging the Grid with the ENCOM 5110, LOL!!!! ( I figured the current Encom server number would be at least 10 times the 511, LOL!!!).

Fighting for TRON, The USERS, Both Flynns, Independents, and the mighty ISOs since '82.

Kevin is dead. Physically, at least. There could always be a plot twist that Quorra is technically Kevin, since she left with his disc and all :P

Or, in all seriousness, he could pull an Obi Wan and be some sort of presence in the Grid. But if so, save that for the fourth movie. I want the third to be on the Encom grind, not Flynns's.

The obvious answer is....most of us hope so.

Tron Legacy seemed to have laid the foundation for at least three storylines in a possible Tron 3.

Obviously there is the relationship that Sam has with Quorra and the question of how he will "introduce" her into our world. He would likely fear for her safety and might reveal her secret origins only to Alan & Lara (yes, please bring back Cindy Morgan). Lara could especially be involved in researching her and hope to learn the secrets of her DNA that could benefit mankind.

There is then of course Dillinger, Jr. Perhaps he could learn of Quorra's exceptional nature and sense an opportunity to use her for profit and elevate himself to CEO. Then try to swindle the company away from Sam and take full control of ENCOM.

That's maybe where Flynn could come in. Perhaps Sam (who has been trying to "rerezz" his Dad, working with Alan) could finally bring him back, and they could all work together to bring down Dillinger Jr.

Wherever they decide to go with it, there is certainly a lot of potential for a great story. I think the only problem might be the temptation to run too many storylines at once.

Agreed! I would love to see them do something along those lines, and I whole-heartedly agree that Cindy Morgan needs to be back in this one. I'd like to see them change the tone of it, from "The New" to more of the classic. The ENCOM labs, Alan and Lara could definently fit in since they didn't kill Lara off, and the two of them knew Flynn best. Alan would obviously be the first person Sam would go to for advice for whatever is on his chip around his neck.

Since Legacy focused more on "What's happened, how things have changed" I would like to go back more to the roots of TRON, back in the ENCOM grid. More to the style and mood the original had.

I'd say it depends on how long it takes for Tron 3 to start being made. If it takes another 30 years, sadly, I wouldn't count on it.

Don't be surprised if none of our questions get answered. Remember, LOST? That plot was a mess.

I do hope Kevin is alive in some form or another. But, the next movie needs to focuse more on Sam, Tron, Dillinger Jr. (Sark 2.0), Quorra, Ram and Yori. Although, de-aging 3 actors would no doubt be a huge resource hog for the film producers. So, it will be interesting to see where they take things. Kevin might show up in some form by the end of the movie, but hopefully, not be the focus of it. Kind of like Obi Wan in the OT.

I do like Shadowdragon's ideas on this, though. But as far as never needing to eat, sleep or go to the restroom, I'm all for it. I would only eat for enjoyment.

Someone really ought to sticky the link to that interview - it provides definitive answers to a few questions that people have been wondering about. Thanks for passing that along.

Clear answer from Bruce Boxleitner himself: YES! I went to his panel at PCC, and someone asked him if he was going to be in Tron 3 and he said that Jeff and Garret and Olivia have all been confirmed for it, but Bruce himself has not yet been asked.where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

Tron 3 confirmed, and all three of them returning? Awesome! But how can you possibly have another Tron movie without Bruce Boxleitner as Tron? They'd better be getting him on board for the sequel, too!

Thanks for sharing that tidbit, Spark. I think you just made my night.

This IS good news! Had a feeling they might.
And yeah, I'll bet they bring Bruce back for it too.

On the other side of the screen it all looks so easy.

Oh good, SP posted this news.

How can they not have Alan back? I assumed he was now board Chairman, and may be needed to help Sam too with the disk. I wanted to ask Bruce if writing Disney would help his position but I hate standing in front of microphones.order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill
