I don't like watching the Oscars anyway except in the beginning before the oscars to watch the silly outfits they wear.
Other than that, it's just a mutual admiration society for the grossly overpaid.
So boycotting not a problem because I can't stand that show to begin with.

All of this was not surprising however tron should have received SOME recognition for the most part, especially for the technology used in general. Music of this nature would not abode all that great with these monkeys despite the fact that it was a combination of both classical/electronica.
On a side note, between social network & inception, i would prefer inception win more awards however knowing how well social network won recently, it may possibly be a win win for both. who knows?

Meh. I just can't bring myself to watch a bunch of millionaires parade around in clothes that would cost me several months salary give themselves awards that mean absolutely nothing.
T:L was wonderful entertainment, and I'm grateful to the cast and crew for putting together such a treat, but that's it.
The oscars should not hand out expensive trophies, should set a limit on wardrobe price, and recognize all the folks who work hard to give us a little escapism from time to time. We really appreciate it, but don't care to have our noses rubbed in it.

So the Oscars nomination voters dismissed Tron Legacy, but the Oscar Show mentions Tron in a joke....

They have 5 slots per awards, with one or two exceptions. I feel that something as otherwordly as Tron Legacy deserves at least the nods, if not the awards. Those people worked very hard to make someplace unreal, seem very real, and yet got nothing from the Academy.
