Just realized, you can draw and write.
Really rare combination, Tried my hand at drawing a long time ago, I am lost cause for it.
Writing came natural to me though, unknowingly, took my 10th, 11th and 12th grade teachers to convince of that actually, so now I do it for fun.

Oh that is strange. You know, I kept wanting to say "costume" while writing part one and I kept having to change it. I guess I missed that one! Nice catch! I just did a find and replace and thankfully that was the only instance... and of course it's the only one I actually have shown to the public!

Still working. Got illustration #3 done today and will probably start on #4 tonight. Then after that there's about 4 more to go and I need to go through the story for a final edit... or two.

Alright, here's an updated sketch of Jaren. The first design felt a bit too super-heroish with the big cape and shoulder pads. It just wasn't right for the more humble man that Jaren is. But I might be able to use some of it for something else...
That feels MUCH better. Less is definitely more. Also, he lost an arm! Because it looks good.

Seconded! The preview page shows real promise in both your writing and drawing style. For me the image of Rinzler/Tron's hand and disc thrusting out of the water is wonderful! Funny coincidence, after seeing Legacy for the first time I commented to my partner than I had an idea for the sequels title: TRON: Redemption! so I am very interested to see your art and of course read your story.

Glad you guys are still interested! It's taken a little longer than I thought because things got a bit hectic at work and that's taking a lot of my creative energy right now! BUT... I made some really good progress the last couple days. I only have about one illustration left to do. Then I'll give Part 1 a final edit and can finally post it!
In the meantime, here's a new sketch. Every story needs a villain, and I think I've got a good one. His name is Jex. And he imagines himself a rather grand figure. That's all I'll say for now.

This is really impressive. I was hooked all the way through. Love the concepts, loved the art. very consistent.
Also, definitely read all of Tron's lines in Bruce Boxleitner's voice, and it fit I think you captured his character well.

This is what I have been looking for, a new story that gives me an idea of what exactly happened to Tron when he was turned. And executed so well! Your artwork is superb my good program, as is the script. And so professionally laid out!
Bring on part II, it will be well worth the wait! I can see I need to hook up the old printer and run off a hard copy for myself.
