I know attract a lot of younger viewers and that's just fine by me. Hell, I'm still a kid at heart! I think my tastes in entertainment (mainly the kind of entertainment that I enjoy making) were solidified when I was still a kid so it makes a lot of sense. I just hope my younger viewers don't out-grow their tastes in my video work any time soon.

Yeah - it did look really odd... and eerie even. The problem was that his mouth was at an angle in the image and making a crooked mouth talk like doesn't work 100% as you can see.

Did you catch the "believe it or not" line in there? That is my first memory of Jack Palance - the host of the 70's (or was it early 80's?) version of Ripley's Believe It or Not.

Thanks. I'm sorry if it was a little "disturbing" though. I wasn't sure if I should be going there because he hasn't been dead for very long - has not been a year yet. Wasn't sure if I was jumping in to that kind of thing too early on. I was surprised of his death - he seemed so tough, I figured he'd beat the Grim Reaper in to submission for a lot longer. Oh well - had to give it a try. That's what was on my mind and I went with it. These are all experimental.

I always remember the Believe It Or Not episode with the one railroad worker who got a spike completely through his head. I thought it was bunk until I saw the same thing on a PBS show called "The Brain" a few years later.

I actually did about 6 or 7 takes of that one - I often do several takes of each because I screw up a lot believe it or not. In some of the takes, the robots didn't even make contact (poor aim on my part). In another take, they made contact too far on the edge of the screen. In two takes (not back to back) they made contact AND headed right for the edge of the table toward me! Didn't expect that until it happened. The 2nd take like that is the one I kept.
