Much work ahead of me now. This Friday night ritual of obsessive video work...

I'm working on what will no doubt be my most complex QuickVid to date... have no idea if it will be my most popular or most enjoyed one.

Also some unfortunate realities that I must face. More on that tomorrow (Saturday). I've been spreading myself way too thin for a little too long now.

Sorry to hear that, Todd. It was a good run though and it lasted longer than anyone would have thought. If I was making the QuickVids, I would have given up after day one.

Yeah - it was a good run, but the run ain't over yet. It's just going to slow down a bit. I'd rather put out fewer good QuickVids than daily not-so-good QuickVids.

I'm working on what I hope will be a very good QuickVid right now.

Yeah - sleep. That and having to hold down a day job. I often wish my video interests could be my day job, but that just ain't the case. My passion lies in my video work, but my priorities lie in my day job for I need to pay the bills. And unfortunately, I also need sleep... though I rarely get enough. One of the many pitfalls of being human, I guess.

I've watched all the QuickVids for the past few days (except the robot one), but I haven't had time to comment on them due to other stuff going on (mainly homework, relatives, visitors etc). I won't comment on them yet until they're in the QuickVid archive (just so I can refresh my memory).

Sad to hear that you're slowing down your QuickVid production, but I have to commend you on how long you stuck with them! If I were in your shoes, I'd have done two or three before running out of ideas, being lazy or just not being motivated enough (also, I'd probably have rather bad ankle pain if I were in your shoes, considering they're in another continent). I'll be looking forward to your better, weekly QuickVids, then.

Tomorrow's sounds good... I'll be looking forward to that as well!

Wow! I didn't think it would happen so soon, but I believe you've topped the Pong Head video with this latest one. That was awesome. Totally worth the time you put into it. (Well, at least I think so! You may think otherwise about the "pitfalls" of the "Ticking Clock of Doom"TM. )

Great video Todd. I used to play Pitfall and Raiders Of The Lost Ark on my 2600 for hours on end. Did you know that there's actually a walkthrough for 100% completetion to Pitfall?

I did fix the blurry crap on Sunday afternoon, around 2:30 PM (EST). I also added a missing audio sample that I didn't have the time for Saturday night. See if you notice anything different.

Thanks! I wasn't trying to out-do the Pong-Head video, but glad to hear you found it a worthy effort. I spent about 3 times longer on this video than the Pong-Head video, and like the Pong-Head video, I had to cut it shorter of my original plan because of the Ticking Clock of DoomTM. Grrrr.

Thanks! Yeah - I spend many hours on Pitfall and Raiders. I never solved Pitfall, but got pretty good at solving Raiders. I did download that Pitfall map before and started in on it, but TIME (lack there of) just wouldn't allow me to get too far in to it. One of these days I'll solve it!

And it really sucks that I have to slow down the videos - I am not happy about that at all. But I'm spread way too thin and something had to give. More will come - just not as frequently. I hope you'll continue to check for them.

Yeah - I had to go with new opening text to indicate the general time frame of the video. I thought the *daily* opening was better because it showed the actual day and gave the clear impression that this is TODAY, as in my video. But weekly videos are better than none, right? At least it still looks *generally* current. :-)
