Thanks for the music offer, but we already have the music ready for the movie. And I think we don't need any help with the rendering.

We do need web space however, and I would appreciate you could open up a sub-domain exclusively for our movie. Could you call it something like, "open-source-tron-movie.org" or something similar? And a FTP would be nice too.

Okay, I'll post some more AVIs soon. I got some more shots on the game grid and I got around to animating the lightcycle "flashing spokes" in these shots as well!

Sorry I haven't replied in a while, guys! I've been taking a break from the movie this weekend, but now I can continue animating.

Notice the new name I gave this file? Here's how I'm going to name the shots for now on:

The first two digits in the file name are the Scene numbers. Each scene of the movie will be numbered by appearence in the movie. In this case, 00 represents the Game Grid sequence, and 01 would be the scene when the lightcycle escapes the game grid.

The second digits are the Shot numbers. These are also numbered by appearence in the movie. So, in this case, 00_02, means this is the 2nd shot in the game grid sequence. Is that okay?

NoExcuses, I'll give you the correct names for the shots that I previously uploaded for you. I'm still storyboarding the movie so I won't be able to give you the correct name until the storyboard is done. Don't worry, I'm almost done... I think.

The past few days I've had my TV hooked up to my PC via S-video, so as to get a live, full screen video preview. The quality's not excellent because my PC's S-video port is hella dusty, but the movie (we still don't have a name, do we?) looks really cool on it!

Hey guys! I'm sorry I haven't replied in a while. This project is not dead and is alive and well. I'm currently animating the game grid sequence and unfortunately it's a lot harder than I thought. But, I finished two shots the other day and hopefully I'll get more shots done soon.

Chikan, did it let you downloaded it yet? I don't like YouSendIt anymore; we definately need online space.

The other day, I was thinking of a title for our movie and I came up with these:

MACH (which was this project's original name before I made it open-source)
Red (as in the red lightcycle)
Binary
Lightcycle Games
Illegal Exit

That's just to name a few... if anyone has some ideas for the title for our movie, go ahead and post!

Anyway, I'll be posting shots 00_04, 00_05 and 00_06 shortly.

UPDATE!

Now that I have storyboarded the game grid sequence, SHOT_5 is now renamed to 00_24, so you can rename the AVI and WAV to the new name or download it from the downloads page from the website.

I also added a new shot, 00_20. You can also download it from the downloads page.

I have rendered some other shots, but I need to do the sound fx for them, but that shouldn't take long. In fact, I think I could do some sound effects tonight!
