I was browsing through the posts earlier today, when Firefox froze on me. So I restarted Firefox, only to find that I'd lost all of my bookmarks and quick links. I could get onto other sites fine, but I couldn't get back on TRON-Sector as it wouldn't load. Occasionally I'd get timeouts and server errors. Eventually, after waiting about 5 minutes (which is a damn long time to be waiting for a page to load), it finally loaded, but when I clicked a link, it took a further 5 minutes to load that page.

A few hours later, I checked again and it had speeded up slightly, and eventually it was back to normal loading speed.

All the other sites I went on worked fine.

Well, it seems I've permanently acquired Shadow User's profile. I was hoping the problem would go away by itself, but nope.

I still get my own PMs, and my post count still increases (rather than going under Shadow User's post count). But I'm worried that if I edit my profile back, it may make things worse.

I'm sending Auric a PM about this, and hopefully something can be done. Meanwhile, this situation kinda sucks . . . these problems at Tron-Sector REALLY need to be fixed. I love this site, but the continual problems are kind of aggravating.

I'm just guessing here, but I'd bet money that Shadow User had one of those annoying member-swaps and ended up as you, but didn't quite understand what had happened. He probably realized that all his information was screwed up - wrong avatar, wrong sig, etc.

Before he realized (if he ever did realize that day) that he was under your name, he simply re-did all the information, avatar, etc. as he originally had it for his own login.

That makes a lot more sense than a complete and total user switch-a-roo. But then again, the way The Sector has been acting, I wouldn't say that is impossible either.

Unfortunately, you may have indeed stumbled upon an even larger grid bug than we thought possible before.

TRON-Sector really needs its own server. I think that would fix a lot of things.

I have a issue, possibly on a personal level, since I believe someone is using poor judgement in which posts they'd like to delete. Dronez looks like Tron games, and someone in here smells blood. WTH? Moderate offensive, abusive, exaggerated, malicious posts, and let people speak.

If the look of a game is a problem, dont get upset. lol

Your thread appears to have been deleted Traahn, I looked through the forum, yahoo'd the thread, and it was gone... So I posted this to see if there's a good reason why.

Well, no offence dude, but it's more "jumping to conclusions" than "questioning authority."

I can't come down on you for jumping to conclusions because I do that a lot myself, but at least I don't make excuses
