You become creative with your wishes, confuse all of the other people playing the game, and end-up ruining it for the rest of us...and you can't wish for anything anymore.

You get there, but then Strong Sad depresses you, Homestarr lowers your I.Q., and Strong Bad and Teen Girl Squad (along with Trogdor the Burninator) kills you!

There is a second season of Firefly, but Simon and River die.  Then, the season is dedicated to Jayne, trying to make him look cool (which he isn't...)

This happens, but then MacGyver himself shows up and needs to borrow the Kazoos for use in some bomb or some such, and he also needs to borrow the boyscouts. :P
I wish for a Keyblade (specifically Oblivion, Oathkeeper, or the Ultima Weapon)

You get a toy version, which isn't so fun.
I wish for the DVD of The Devil And Daniel Johnston to come out already. It is taking FOREVER! (Said by someone who saw it months before it actualy came out in normal theatres)

It is poured from a golden coffee pot that is bright, shiny, and covered with lights, like like something straight out of Las Vegas itself. The hot coffee burns your hands and you are unable to drink the coffee as you are too busy waiving your hands around looking for some ice. It might have been wiser to wish for a cup full of coffee. 
I wish I had a magic flying carpet that obeyed my every command!
