That could be just someone hoping it to be true and making fake posters but we can always pray it will be true!

Also look at the real D 3D logo in the bottom right corner. It looks like someone just stuck it there since it doesn't match in color and looks grainy. But I could be wrong.

It's the Disney copyright in the opposite corner that I question. Seems to me it'd say [whatever Disney's full name is; surely it has one like "Disney Motion Picture Corporation" or something] and not just "Disney." I could be wrong about the name; I'm not a Disney aficionado, but if there is a longer name, I'm certain it would be on a copyright stamp.

Its not the "best" but with the samsung and some other 3D Tv's, (I currently have the samsung 8000 series LCD/LED) and I can upconvert anything to 3D. So I can watch Tron Classic blu-ray in 3D and its actually pretty impressive considering its not a 3D feed. I can only imagine what that film will be like with a 3D feed! I think it will happen!order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

I feel the same way. A short while ago, I posted that Disney should re-release Tron in 3D. I suggested this after the huge success of the re-release of The Lion King in 3D. I felt it could give Disney a good base-line for future 3D re-releases. I'm also hoping that Disney has something big planned for the Tron Franchise. Both Tron: Uprising and Tron 3 will have very close ties to our original favorite...Tron. In fact, I really believe that Tron 3 will very close to remake of Tron. It would be a good idea for Disney to bring the original story back to the world stage (ie. USA, Germany, France, Russia, India, China, Japan, South Korea, Canada).

Ok, Disney, here is how you do it. Re-release Tron in 3D with a ticket price of just $9.00. Include a sneak preview of Tron 3, to be seen nowhere else. This would be the best way to get new and old Tron fans to fill those seats. Just say it was all part of the plan...a Gift from Encom.

But it's not a logo, it's a copyright notice, which is different. Just like I would copyright anything I write with my full name and not just "Kat" for legal purposes, I imagine they too would use their entire corporate title.

If you really must know, I almost forgot entirely. It was my thought of you that put it on the list. That is why it is at the back. But, don't feel too bad, I forgot Mexico entirely. Mexico is a HUGH fan of the GRID and will be back to support Tron 3.

As far as the 3D Upscaling, it is very cool. Not as good as a true 3D capture(two cameras). All of us PS3ers are waiting for the 3D Upscaling update. As far as a theatrical re-release of Tron in 3D, I can't wait to see Flynn's transport to the Grid(Wormhole). It will make the audience gasp...It will be AMAZING.

If it is true, anyone in Seattle up for seeing it with the crazy fanfic writer here?

It's an entire universe in there, one we created, but it's beyond us now. Really. It's outgrown us. You know, every time you shut off your computer...do you know what you're doing? Have you ever reformatted a hard drive? Deleted old software? Destroyed an entire universe?"

I think the ad is fake, but might be a fan trying to generate buzz among the Tron community. Maybe, in an attempt to show Disney that there is a market for it. I know all the Star Wars movies are coming out in the theaters in 3D. Episode 1 will be released on February 10th, and with Beauty and the Beast in 3D I wouldn't be surprised if Tron makes it's way to the theaters in 3D soon.

As far as upscaling goes, I use to have a 3d card for my PC back before Avatar made it popular. It had upscaling features for video that were pretty decent. It didn't handle laser blasts and lightsabers very well. I think it used shadows, object movement and depth of field to calculate the 3D. Since glowing objects don't have shadows and are such bright sources of light with soft edges, it confused the software as to it's placement in 3D space. But, I'm sure the software has improved since then.

As long as they take the proper amount of time to make the 3D accurate for Tron, I'd go see it. When I went to see Thor in 3D, I knew right off the bat that the 3D was added after the film was shot. The 3D looked horrible for a theater movie. It was very fake and inaccurate. When I got home I looked it up and found out that Disney was doing this with Captin America and Pirates of the Caribbean. I will never see a movie that Disney converts to 3D again, with the possible exception of Tron. It looks horrible and cheep. Now, Lucas claims to be going to extreme measures to accurately convert the Star Wars movies to 3D, but that has yet to be seen. I think the original trilogy will be his biggest challenge.

3D Tron would be amazing. Most of the backgrounds and such are animated, so it wouldn't look as bad as other live-action conversions. Maybe if Beauty and the Beast and Finding Nemo do well? And Uprising gets enough of an audience for them to justify it? *crosses fingers*where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

http://furiousfanboys.com/2012/01/tron-3d-in-september-maybe-not/

There are some things that bother me about this:

1) When viewing the image at full size, some slight artifacting can be seen on the lighter parts of the image, indicating that this is a low-resolution image of Tron and Yori that has been enlarged to fit the poster size.
2) The "3D" logo overlaps the disc platform. Other recent Disney 3D re-release movie posters have the "Movie name 3D" logo moved over to the left a bit so that the overlapping with the movie artwork is minimal at best.
3) The RealD 3D logo looks like it was copy/pasted from another image, as a box can be seen around it.
4) While the (C) Disney part is correct (Disney usually only says Disney, not Walt Disney Motion Pictures or anything like that), it's right where the MPAA rating should be. Actually, the lack of an MPAA rating almost breaks this entire thing.
5) The "Disney" logo and the "3D" logos should be using the same color scheme of the "TRON" logo, if the Beauty and the Beast 3D poster is any indication to the common design trends of these posters.
6) A slight shift in the shade of black used in the background can be seen near "SEPTEMBER 7", right where the image of Tron and Yori would end. It's likely that the person who made this needed additional space for that text and just extended their canvas vertically a few pixels.
7) The pixel at 243x and 115y is off. Pretty obvious Photoshop job.

Woah woah woah, hold the phone. They're making a 3D version of Finding Nemo?

Honestly, Cars and Finding Nemo are my two least-favorite Pixar films. Why do they get all of the attention?
