Excellent post. I usually don't like long post, but you points are well taken. As to the 3D re-releases, they are also going to 3D Upscale Top Gun, The Titanic and a few others. The point is Disney opened up a new source of revenue for all movie houses. The average cost to convert to 3D is between 10 and 17(+/-) Million. The Lion King was converted for an estimated 13 Million and grossed almost 200 Million Worldwide. Eyes have been opened. Disney could re-release Tron in 3D for about 17 Million(geometric shapes are more difficult to 3D). The fan boys alone would bring in over 60 Million, or more, here in the states. By the way, filming has begun for Star Trek 2. J.J. Abrams did not want to shoot it in 3D, because you can't film panoramic in 3D, or somthing to that effect. The studio converted scenes from the first Star Trek to show Abrams. He was so impressed, he agreed to allow a 3D conversion of the completed Star Trek 2. We should expect a 3D Blu-Ray of both film after the next film goes to video. 3D is here to stay, and Tron 3D should be Disney's next big conversion, as well as The Black Hole.

If you ever get to ride the new Star Tours, you'll see how much more exciting the Star Wars universe is in 3D. It added so much to that ride and I'll bet it will add just as much to the movies. The original Tron in 3D, if done right, would look great. And would probably draw in more fans.where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill onlineabortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

Lucas is spending lots of money and time on the conversion, especially the originals. It should be a fun time. Just think where the gross for Tron: Legacy would have been with a 3D re-release of Tron, in October of 2010. I opened this thread with a story of why Tron was pulled from shelves. Because of a bad reaction from some kids, Disney execs. were spooked into that "Big Error". We could have had a dual 3D pack of both movies. What a shame.

O. M. G. Do you know how many years I have been hoping for the original 3 Star Wars films to come out in 3D? Hell, do you know how long I've been wanting just to see them in the theater???
What do you want? I'm busy.
Program, please!

Holy shit. Where do you live? I am moving there. Are you buying the itty-bitty two-kernel-and-one-sip sizes of popcorn/soda?? Around here, popcorn and two drinks (assuming you get the large of each, and let's face it, if you're splitting popcorn between two people you need the large as you'll have it almost done by the time the previews are over anyway), it's $15-20. What do you want? I'm busy.
Program, please!

I got to see the Special Editions when they were in the theaters. There was a father sitting in front of me with his son, who was seeing them for the first time. He kept leaning over and explaining elements of the movie to his son. The kid was about 7 years old. It was a cool thing, to see a film carry over to the next generation.
For me, it was the first time I had seen Star Wars on the big screen, with the exception of RotJ. Previous to that, I had only watched it on a regular 4:3 tv. Of course, because I had seen RotJ in the theater, that became my favorite. The scene of Luke going nuts on his dad was burned into my mind. I never got to see Tron until the late 80s. I had seen clips of it and images. That was all I needed to know it was a must see movie. When I finally had seen it, I was blown away. It really resonated with me. Again, it was on a 4:3 tv. I would love to see it in the theaters even if it was in 2D. But, in 3D, if done right, I would be giddy.abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

"It's all gravy at this point for Beauty and the Beast, though it needs to make at least $15 million to justify Disney's sudden move towards 3D re- releases."
-Ray Subers, Box Office Mojo
Box office take, for Beauty and the Beast 3D, is predicted at 19.6 Million. As stated above, it is crucial that it is successful this weekend. If it tanks, then we will never see a Tron 3D re-release. So, if you do want to see Tron in 3D, let's show our support for Disney's Beauty and the Beast 3D. abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

For clarification's sake, the exact quote from Joseph Kosinski is as follows:
“I think you can expect to see the original Tron in some pretty exciting formats very soon.”
Keep in mind that he doesn't say 3D in particular, and that the phrase "pretty exciting formats" is really, really vague.

TRON 2.0 (PC) name - TRON.dll
I'll play any mode, but I'm best at LC.
PSN - TRON-dll
XBOX Live/Games for Windows Live - TRONdll
