I was looking at some arcade designs and thinking about what I wanted my artwork to look like. When doing a search I stumbled across this site. It has vector graphics reproductions of popular arcade machine art, including Tron and Discs of Tron and even an Encom logo. It even has a great tutorial on creating side art using vector graphics.

Also, found this page with a great looking looking arcade cab.

I went to Harbor Freight Tools and got some slot cutter router bits for the T-molding but they only had the 1/16 in. bit with a 6 pack of other sizes for $26 so got hem anyway. Who knows what else I will make? Also got clamps for holding it during cutting and wheels for the base. And since my router is only 1/2 in. and bits are 1/4 in. I got a new router for $28!!!! Man, does that place have good deals...and by saying this does that mean I should be getting paid for advertising them?

Router and clamps? Garbage!!! They aren't worth the brittle, broken plastic they are made out of! So I found 1/2 to 1/4 inch adapters for my old 1/2 in. router and a flush trim but for the edges so I am good to go again!abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

Don't know if you'll read this in time, but Happ is having a sale on the Gold Tee High Lip Trackball. It ends tonight. $54.95 normally $102.55.

http://na.suzohapp.com/wp/item_search.html?item-no=56-0100-11HL

I didn't even know Happ had sales. Their stuff is top of the line. Unfortunately, I'm not in a position to buy one now. Looks like it's time to create an arcade parts slush fund for future sales.

I also found an ebay seller who sells aluminum discs that would be great as a flyweight for my spinners.

So I found someone in my area is selling a modified original Royal Casino cabinet for $100. It has a 14 in monitor, t molding, an x-arcade control circuit, 2 player configuration with 7 buttons for each 4 way joystick, 1 and 2 player buttons, it even has a coin slot which I am not sure if it works but is there anyway. What do you think?

I've never seen a Royal Casino cab before, but if you like the way it looks or can use it as a base to start from for modifying it, then it sounds good. Having the x-arcade control circuit and coin slot is a bonus. Does it come with the joysticks and buttions or is just the control board?order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pillabortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

The coin mech/holder should have a microswitch on it, somewhere. You'd wire your coin wires from the controller board to the microswitch.

Just noticed that one of the coin mechs is gone but the micro switch it bumps is there so I could make a track for the coin. So how would you make the lights work for both?

It looks good, but I'm not sure how it stacks up to a Happ trackball. Unless you play a lot of games that use a trackball a cheaper one than a Happ would probably would be just fine.

The one I was designing was coming out to be about 50 dollars. The ball, shafts and bearings are the most expensive parts, especially the ball; $40 for all three. So, the one you were looking at is pretty cheap. Makes me wonder about the quality though. I'm going for a Happ trackball on mine, so I know it'll last for as long as I own the Cab. I'm just waiting for a sale again.

On a side note, my spinner is coming along nicely. I have to find time to make a trip out to my parents house to use my dad's drill press. I need two perfect holes in the aluminum weight I'm making. One for the shaft, and the other for the set screw. Also, if all goes well, I'm ordering the nobs this week.

Shaping the plexiglass did prove to be more difficult than I anticipated. I cut it to the dimensions I needed and then used a butane torch to heat the plastic were I wanted the bends. Too often I ended up with bubbles in the plastic. The thinner OPTIX 10" x 8" Clear Acrylic Sheet is easier to work with, which is plenty strong for holding the optical mouse parts. I used the thicker LEXAN .093" x 8" x 10" Clear Acrylic Sheet to cut out the plate I needed for mounting the hardware to the panel. The Lexan was $3.99 and the Optics was $1.98 per sheet. I figure it's cheap enough for me to keep buying it until I get the hang of working with it. And after looking at tutorials on the web, I see all kinds of uses for acrylic sheets. I do need to invest in a heat gun though.

So, three tools to invest in this year, a heat gun, drill press and jig saw (mine bit the dust).

So how exactly do you run mame? All I can find is things about DOS commands, is there an easier way?

Also the ROM folder isn't there.

And I know there is one called Mame ui (or iu?) but cant find a download, any ideas?abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

There are many, many ways to build a MAME cabinet.

Many years ago, I built this:

It runs windows 98SE but boots directly to an application launcher that lets me start about 50 games directly (but there are thousands on the machine).

These days, you best bet is to get an iPad, jailbreak it, and run MAME on that. You can buy an iCade to make more authentic & can replace the controls with higher-quality controls to get even closer.

I'm working on an extensive iCade enhancement right now but it probably won't be done for a few more months.

So here is a picture of the Royal Arcade machine I got! What do you think?

I don't know if you can by the picture but the yellow joystick has sunk down from the spring being loose which makes it so it doesn't contact the micro switches.
Is it possible to fix them or will it have to be replaced?
