At least I don't have to worry. The costume I made for PHCC and that I wore for the D23 Expo will work just fine. Although any ideas for circuitry styles for me to paint on my face would be welcome.abortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

I'm worried it might be too late to get started now, but I'm trying to make something.
Thinking Legacy era Guard/Grid Warrior w/ red circuitry. I can't decide where to buy EL wire, or if I should even use it . . . suggestions?

Thanks Brokenlevel! Your compliments mean alot
And Mastercilinder...the thing with el wire and tape is it takes some planning out. And the time it takes to ship doesnt help either. I'd maybe for version one use reflective tape. Clu.exe, great job on the Daft Punk helmet and gloves! It looks great! How did you make the helmet and what are the shiny bits on the gloves made out of?
Nice job on the Sark costume, unblind! That looks fantastic! Nice attention to detail! Are you planning on doing an EL version in the future?
Matercylinder, I would agree with the other posts, due to the time crunch, go with reflective tape this time around. Then, for your next version, use EL tape or EL wire. I'm not sure where the best place to pick up reflective tape on the cheap would be. I'm sure Lowe's/Home Depot would have it, but I don't know how their prices compare to other places.

Here is a cool "TRON-like" outfit idea for the ladies:

I buy my reflective tape online but im sure lowes would be a good bet. I tried finding some at home depot but they told me they didnt carry it. then again the person i asked seemed a bit confused. plus buying it over ebay is much cheaper. but again time restraints suck.
As for EL...I'm not super savvy in that department (my legacy costume was made up of several different panels each with its own battery so no technical stuff) but I would like to outline the headpiece and bracers with el wire. Since what I'm wearing is spandex I don't see that working out too well.
I was also thinking of remaking my classic Tron outfit and instead of drawing the lines maybe getting a el panel, taping off the circuits and somehow backlighting it under the garment. But I'm not really sure how I'd make that work with spandex. I wouldn't want electronics so close to my skin

thanks BrokenLevel and hoodoo. i worked on that helmet on and off for about a year. started with a baseball helmet and used epoxy and cardboard to form the thomas helmet. i'm currently applying repaints to improve the look. the sanding is really the most pain-staking, time-consuming part of all. haha. the pieces on the glove is made of aluminum tape. think you guys out there could use that for costume ideas. hehe. thanks again! oh and for those looking for reflective tape, they're in home supplies store and stuff like that. i don't know if it's the same there with my country but here motorcycle reflective tape is very expensive especially in malls. not too expensive but compared to reflective tape in home stores, expensive for what it's worth.

That looks great, Aerial! I can't wait to see the finished product! When you mentioned that the pink off/white on (POWO) is the cleanest CLU color, did you mean the EL tape by itself, or the EL tape with the color gel over it? I remember you mentioning you were getting some yellow color gels to try to get the color pretty close to that of the movie. Regardless, it really looks awesome! I mean that once the gel film is on it, that it looks the best off as well as on The gel is more like a see thru colored sheet (kinda like transparencies in school).

Was hoping to get some actual decent photographs of me not just incoherently posing come Halloween, but that isn't looking likely. So continue to treat this thread as the general cosplayery thread I shall. :V
oh god why does this site hate my fancy html shenanigans
And a few more over here~

These were taken at NYCC by a slew of people; sort of miffed that my wig cap is showing in most photos, and that I had to take my contacts out after awhile due to me being beyond allergic to something at the convention center. Sobbu.
