Cool story:
I was at a grocery store today to get a picture taken, and since its halloween there was lots of people getting pictures taken of themselves in costumes. Since I was wearing a Tron T-shirt (like any good Tron fan should) the person at the photo desk commented on it. Then she told me that a 3-4 year old was in to get a picture taken earlier, and that he was wearing a black suit with white lines on it (a batman suit turned inside out with white paint). OMG I have so many pics to post of my costume in action from the early Halloween party on Saturday Sadly one of my quick connects was lose (mom's not tech savy and didnt plug it in right... we were in such a hurry).

Otherwise my blueprint worked perfectly! Sadly the contest situation was rigged!! They had the judges walking around anonymously picking folks from the crowd (their reasoning was to avoid inappropriate people) and that was what they ended up w/ on state was mostly vulgar costumes! I dont know if they even saw me I think I had a great costume and at least wanted a chance, but I had my photo taken so many times with and without fans so it was still fun and validating in the end

I need to find a new way to attach/glue the filter to the tape as superglue just didnt quite hold up and the electrical tape I put around it wasnt sticky enough to "seal" it. There is always version 2.0

Hey, forgot to mention I succesfully completed my costume!

I found some red reflective tape at a Pep-Boys, then cut up some strips and went to work.

I had this really cool jacket w/ a collar, so I kinda had a Clu thing going on, especially with this one line of circuits that went down me chest that broke up into sections, also alot like Clu.

I found these awesome looking shin-guards (for my arms) at Big 5 and put some circuitry on those too (They were only 5 bucks! I'm going to go buy some more and use them for the arm-things, for a futuristic/cyberpunk Batman costume for next year.)

I wore it to my classes at CSUN, a few complements (I was one of the few people in costume though ) Later,

I met up with some friends for Trick or Treating. Got a ton of candy. Unfortunately, it got a little messed up and I didn't get a pic yet.

The only thing I thought is that the strips of tape stuck up at the edges to much. Other than that very cool!!!
