My sister wanted to be Quorra, but after looking at EL Wire prices, she's being The Spoiler from DC comics. =/ I've wanted to do something tron inspired for years, but I've enver had the resources. Good luck to all.

Honestly if you were to go the "civilian program" route, you can be just as creative as you want, it doesn't cost neeaarly as much, and I myself got away without doing any technical stuff with the lighting. velcroed el panels on my jacket and hooked a battery pack to each one. sure I could go with one big battery pack but im fine with my current set uporder abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

I just ordered my materials from LightTape For 12ft of 0.5inch wide tape, sealer, caps, lead wiring with nics, 12v driver, and shipping it was $174 o_O Then add my amber filters from Roscoe at $25 (2 quares of filter and shipping).

I also found a pair of wedge boots at Ross, super yay! They were originally $100 but bought them for $24

$200 is about what I estimated to spend on this costume from the beginning and Im not too much off the mark. If I had not been saving since Feb there would be no way I could have done this. I will post pics as I go along Just waiting for my Dad to come and help!

Oh, btw, the filters go on just fine with the Gel Superglue for those wanting custom colors where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

End of Line.

That sounds awesome, Aerial! Yeah, I'm sure there was some sticker shock ordering from LightTape, but they seem to be the best when it comes to quality of EL tape. I think I paid 48 dollars for my 10 foot evaluation strip from them!

That's great news about the filters! So, were the amber filters you purchased the right color when you put them over the EL tape? If so, that's a handy way to get a custom color on your costume.

And it sounds like you got yourself a great deal on those wedge boots. From what I understand, those wedge boots are somewhat hard to find. Luckily, you found some.

I'm looking forward to reading about your build process and seeing the pictures. I was considering using the same method as you, EL tape-wise. It's too late for me to put together a costume for this Halloween, but I'm hopefully going to be able to put something together for next year.

Good luck on your build, Aerial! I'm sure it's going to look great when you're through!

For me, they sent me a 30 day sample pack with Yellow, Orange, and White along with a driver. They voided out the white for me to experiment on (she wanted to know too!) and since I mailed the small Orange/Yellow samples and the driver back I didnt pay anything but shipping. Just FYI

Yep, to me that filter over the white on / pink off was perfect, it even looks right while off too Just got the full box of materials Saturday and Dad didnt have time to help me with it BUT I can get it all cut down to size and add the nicks/wire to it to be all set to go, and just have him assist with the wiring.

Trying a couple of things with the wiring to try to avoid Soldering on the day of. Im going to experiment with the quick connects from Glowhut (they are only like $2-4 a piece) to see if it can be as simple of plugging in the quick connects the day of vs the soldering. I will confirm as I go along ; most likely wont be until much closer to Halloween

Thanks for the good luck wishes and following my "blog" I will keep yall posted!

End of Line.

[i can't even quote images before 20 posts? really? ffs]

Some day, we must meet and have an epic battle that will shake the foundations of reality itself.

And that other Sark from DragonCon can come, too. :3d

Also, ffff your jawguard is so perfect! I have taken my helmet apart like four times trying to get it to look right, and I am just failing hardcore - right now it's too low and crooked. You must tell me your secret.

Seriously echoing everyone else in saying that I can't wait to see it done and together. ;w;where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

funny story actually...with the side horn parts I strategically planned them through making the shape in illustrator and cutting them out of posterboard and using the poster board to cut out the foam in the same shape. But the jawguard was....well....I winged it. I just took scissors to poster board and ended up getting lucky

Attaching the wires to the tape Im using nics to pierce through the tape. Here is the link for the video on how to do this part: http://lighttape.com/how_to_design_and_use.asp?ContentId=318

Im using their "low profile connections" as they said that would run fine. Im then soldering the end of that white wire to a Glowhut wire with a Female end.

This way I can plug in three pieces of tape into one segment. That segment (3 way splitter) is then connected to another piece of wire (Male) that then connects to the driver.

The driver is then soldered to my 12v battery or battery holder.

Here is a diagram of how it will all work. I have yet to test it mind you but my Dad said it was electrically sound and still in parallel (where if one strip goes out it will not affect the rest).

I wish the design on my avatar was what Im doing. That will be build 2.0 I think once Ive done this once and have more know-how on how to do it. Im still going to use black electrical tape to do some type of pattern though

I just ordered my disc hub from Aradani and of course their machine just broke! Dont know if I will have my hub in time or not. If not my Dad might can custom make one but not sure.

I will keep posting info and pics, and I hope this helps at least one person where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

My work costume party was moved to less than a week from now so I really need to get myself into gear. Stole the shoulder pads off my original Tron costume and "rectified" them. The tape was falling off and the paint was all scuffed up so I ripped the tape off and repainted them. Then I Sark-ified them. I'll get new pads for my Tron one at a later date. The ones I ordered for my Sark costume ended up not being to my satisfaction. Now all I need is the bracers which my friend should be done constructing by tomorrow and add the circuits. Oh and the disc...which I reeeaaally messed up in the painting process...it needs to be repainted. Time is not on my side but at least I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
