I agree. I think the distribution was completely hosed. Some places having LOADS of item 'X'...while most other areas of the country had: 0. Uncool.

A 2" S2 set showed up on eBay today. Buy It Now for $110 shipped. I didn't want to pay that much. The set has never gone up for sale on eBay and Hong Kong wants $53 just for Sam+Arcade. The hope that Target will stock these has faded. I pulled the trigger. Ouch.

Now I just need S3 2" Castor+Clu. I was able to order the rest of the set from Germany, but almost didn't since they were sold out of Castor+Clu. Since at least 3 Gems were available, I went for it (everyone needs 3 Sirens, right?). On the other hand, what's Gem without Castor?

He might have meant a SET....like all the S2 action packs. Not sure, though. Alot of $$$...

It is our business when people foolishly pay outrageous prices and cause secondary market prices to skyrocket as a result thereby spoiling it for everybody else because they wanted instant gratification instead of being patient. Seeing you lot in the US being able to buy a bunch of Kevin Flynn Light Cycles for $5 a piece on clearance breaks my heart, I'd love to be able to buy a few of those to repaint or modify to make one light up like the movie version and not the strange lighting setup they gave us. To put things in perspective, the cheapest place I can find them online for shipment to/in the UK is £15 (about $24).

But I have some great looking Tron toys including one or two rarities, anything else would be icing on the cake and the cake is still good without the icing. Although according to the demented computer at Aperture Laboratories the cake is a lie

The $110 was for all 3 of the 2" S2 set. I do hate paying $37 each for a $3.50-$5 toy. (I won't even pay $19 for a 12" Sam, but I don't care about that scale.) I'm not exactly in a position to be throwing money around as every toy expense comes straight out of savings (and I haven't added to savings since 2005).

I only hope that these sets become available at retail (from the cargo ships) so that everyone can enjoy them. I'd rather walk in to Target and find S2/S3 and look like an idiot than be one of the few people with these items. No one should be subjected to secondary market prices, but we've already established that SpinMaster and Disney made bad business decisions which might make the secondary market the only location for some items. (What is even worse are the products that were never made for anyone.)

I initially didn't care much for the 2" line until that's where all the characters showed up (minus Kevin).
