If you've thrown your disc vertically upwards you'll notice it doesn't spin smoothly, it wobbles because it's off-balance, a bit of blu-tack and an old AAA battery fixes that pretty well:

But you wouldn't want to leave it in permanently though, despite what battery manufacturers claim, even non-leak alkalines can eventually leak. If you can find a lump of metal (a big bolt?) the same weight it would be better.
