Rinzler is the only deluxe fig i own. And i wont buy the others until i can find them for a good "GTFO the rack" $5 or less. The articulation is complete crap. The photos on the back of the card are clearly from preproduction or protyotype unit. The detail in design, shiny'ness of the body, articulation in joints, and overall craftsmanship shown in the photos completely upsell the crappy toy inside. Mine stands straight up, on an audio monitor, all by itself. The accs are... okay, but the lack of articulation doesnt allow you to properly the battle baton or katana. Poor old rinzler, this stiff sad wall flower does no justice to the spinning parkour ninjitsu were used to.

Today I picked up a Light Runner at Kmart for $11.99, so that my Quorra has an excuse to have the helmet on.
A couple days ago I picked up a clearance Sam bike to custom for Rinzler too.
EDIT: Just got the Light Runner opened up, and I gotta say, after cutting the bits off the "opening cockpit" that prevent riders from having heads...(I know it shouldn't be necessary, but I digress) I'm actually fairly impressed with it.
I've heard so much negativity about this vehicle that I actually couldn't decide to grab it or not, but i'm glad I did. Maybe it's that I don't think it's as bad as others have made it to be... but it actually looks a lot cooler than I thought it would.

Today I finally got my Daft Punk Kubricks! From Urban Collector, only like $25 not too bad 
Very excited finally to get these guys since I can't afford the full size figures. Nice to have a piece of Daft Punk from the movie

It came out to about $30 shipped and being 6" I felt better buying that instead of the Sam + Arcade. Probably be a more limited piece too although it may never have the 'value' of the 2 pack. |
I got a miniature BTTF pinball model replica from that guy today, not impressed at all, paid for it last Sunday and it only arrived today (Saturday), the detail on stickers isn't very high resolution, the back legs were broken in transit and the back plate of the machine wasn't put together very well - the pieces weren't held together at true 90 degree angles when glued so it looks wrong.
I paid about £15 for it and feel like I was overcharged, if I paid the £25+postage buy-it-now price for it I would be extremely pissed at such poorly made item. I had my eye on the miniature Tron cabinet replica but not anymore.
Mr. Sci-fi, glad you got your Light Cycle!

Yeah I hear ya. I'm not that impressed either. My joystick was painted black instead of blue, I think he is going to mail me another one however. $30+ for some painted balsa wood and some sloppy stickers isn't that great a deal, I'm going to leave him some neutral/bad feedback.

Not a problem at all, glad to help. I found the last one with a pile of Vintage Cycles, a couple of Deluxe Rinzlers and 1 Ultimate Sam at Walmart. It was the ONLY walmart within 50 miles of me to ever get any TRON at all, and they only had those 4 items left but it was better than nothing.
The Sam bike was priced at $9.00, Flynn cycles at $7.00 along with Rinzlers also at $7.00, and Ultimate Sam at I *THINK* $19.00, but i'm not 100% on that one. I'm toying with the idea of picking up Ultimate CLU for a custom, but i've never seen him since thes guys hit clearance so I was focusing on the cycles.
Kmarts got all but the Cores at a pretty nice percentage off, too. Someone mentioned earlier 3-Man Jet for $17.99 and I picked up a Light Runner for $11.99. Same price for all other Core vehicles also.

Just came back a Wal-mart near me and picked up this:
They were JUST starting to put them out, and other people were already there waiting to buy the movies.
Glad I went now instead of tomorrow after work as I don't think there would be much left.
I really bought it only for the diecast. I'll probably sell off the movie and wait for my Limited Edition set to come in from Futureshop's website.
