I got there early enough - they opened 6am and got there at 8:45am. They only had about 8 left?
Are the eBay-ers grabbing these up too?
All the other editions are in the mail...

Anyone open their light cycle yet?
Can we get some detailed impressions or pics? Which mold is it using?
My copy from Walmart is still in the mail. Amazon should have my 3D copy here this afternoon and I'm going to get a standalone original Tron to have it on DVD.

Today I got the Walmart Tron Blue Ray & DVD pack with the Green light cycle and I finally got a copy of the Tron Evolution game on my Nintendo DS. The Walmart didn't have the Tron R3C0NF1G3RD album but the HMV did so I got the CD there.
Then I went down the street to the Real Canadian Superstore where They had Tron Toys on sale. 3 3/4" figures were $7.50 CDN, the throwable discs were $6.50 CDN and basic vehicles (Kevin Flynn light cycle and 1 man light jet) were $13~something. I finally got myself a Quorra and Jarvis to finish off my collection as Superstore has been the only place I've been able to find series 2 figures. (none of the Clus at this location had Katanas)I also got myself one each of the Flynn and Rinzler throwable discs.
I haven't seen the 3 man light jet anywhere up here. Does anyone know this this is available in Canada at all?
I find it ironic that Spin Master is based in Toronto yet we Canadians get screwed for our selection of Tron toys.

Today, I got tired of waiting for Amazon to get off their butts and ship my stinkin' 5-disc Tron set (not the 'ultimate POS edition'). So I cancelled the Amazon order, and went to my local Bestbuy and bought it with the DMR coupon. Price came out almost the same anyways, plus I had a problem with Reward Zone number working, so they threw me 500 points...which spit out a $10 RW certificate. LOL. Worked out kinda well. Love the lenticular on the 5-disc set.
Then went to Target. They had the 'ultimate POS edition' 5-disc sets only. Not the regular 5-disc set. I couldn't BELIEVE how crappy it was! I seriously feel I dodged a bullet and saved $$ by not keeping my order on Amazon for that! Sad looking 'collectible'. And I'm being kind.
Target had NO new Tron stock at all as far as the toys go. Glad I got my stuff from other countries so at least I could have 1 of them.
I stopped by Walmart...where I also didn't feel like waiting for my Walmart exclusive movie/lightcycle package I ordered from them to arrive in the mail. Turns out they had LOADS of the sets at the same price as I purchased on their website. No brainer. I'll just return the other one when it comes in the mail. While I was there, I noticed they had the 4-disc set on sale, AGAIN with an awesome looking lenticular cover! The price was reduced from $35 to $25, which I thought was a price mistake. It wasn't. I grabbed another DMR coupon and walked out with the 4-disc set for around $20. LOL.
When I got home, I input enough DMR codes (REMEMBER THAT THEY ARE DOUBLED TODAY/TONIGHT!) so that I could order the lenticular from the DMR website. I'm so glad I didn't miss out on that, and the points for the 5-disc set SERIOUSLY jacked my points up!
And all ended well that ended.

I thought it was just the 4 disk 3D BluRay pack that had the lenticular cover. Oh well. I also used my points to get that spiffy TRON legacy double sided poster that most of us got a few months ago.....BTW anyone still interested in getting the TRON legacy poster from Disney, it is back in stock.

Meijer I was at yesterday had die-casts. I was good and forced myself not to get any, though I wanted the Reco, 3-Man light jet, Flynn's cycle, and light runner. They didn't have Sam's cycle so I was safe there. It looked like some of the diecasts were series 1 and some were series 2...at least, some had on the back a smaller collection of "get these other vehicles" and some had a larger selection and referred to "wave 2." I was trying to compare some of them but didn't see too much of a difference (though I think the only I saw where they had the same vehicle in both series was the Flynn cycle).
OH DAMN. Should've gotten a Flynn cycle. I just remembered I wanted to mod one to look like a police cycle, like that shirt that shows the cop arresting the light cycle guys.  (though we know how that would go--back in high school I meant to mod a Matchbox car into something from...I think Adam-12 or something, and THAT never happened. So maybe I shouldn't get ambitious.)
Well, if I were getting diecasts I'd prolly order from Disney anyway: cheaper. Get enough & no doubt the savings would balance out the shipping.
Saw the 3" figures, Deluxe figures, and a couple of the Core vehicles too. I won't lie--if they'd made a 3" version of Tron as well as Rinzler, I totally would've gotten it. I did manage to not let myself get Rinzler though.where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

Today I completed my collection (barring finding a miracle Castor)
I got the S2 Black Guard and Jarvis today from LesManley in trade. Everything went great, thanks again Les!
I also got my Sam + Arcade from ebay. Someone had one for about $20 less shipped than the Singapore guy (in Cali) so I jumped on it. Haven't been seeing as many on ebay recently and there has been no hint of S2 or S3 2" here locally. I didn't want to have to pay $50+ 6 months from now when it's really obvious there is no product.
Hopefully I will see some S2 or S3 2" in stores so I can buy some to open, and hopefully a Castor will come for everyone for Christmas. Until then it's been fun but I guess I'm basically done.

My Kevin Flynn and Rinzler ID discs arrived today from Amazon.
Now, I have to acquire a second Kevin because I can't bring myself to open the one I have, since it's the only one.
