So please discuss any info here.

Nope. It's a total reboot, so technically it's a new Spiderman 1, not spiderman 4.

The only thing I find intriguing about this film is the lack of organic webshooters.
Sam Raimi had John Malkovich lined up for Spider-man 4 and they scrapped the whole thing for a redundant reboot. What's the point?

Making it more serious. Face it, the last 3 wer sub par. They were fun, they were cool, but they were nothing compared to other Marvel films. Toby was impossible to take seriously as a super hero, especially after that crap in Spidey 3. They needed to just sweep it under the rug and try again.where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

I don't mind non-serious. I love Raimi's Evil Dead series, too.

If you look closely, you can see his web shooters in the picture of Peter Parker dressed in most of his spider-suit.
I missed them completely, the first few times I saw the photo. You can see it clearly in these photos

Oh, man, that's the guy? He's great! Way better than Tobey "I'm-dating-the-niece-of-the-producer-and-my-name-has-one-too-many-vowels-in-it" McGuire. KEEP THE LEGACY ALIVE -- TR3N LIVES

Yeah, but (webshooters aside) that photo is horrible. It gives me flashbacks to the '70s TV series (which I admittedly enjoyed at the time).

This was planned a long time ago. The original actors signed a 3 movie deal and to re-up them would have cost too much, plus with the atrocity that was Spidey 3 I think they wanted a reboot. "Venom" was a joke in the 3rd one, as much so with the mini-musical.
The 'Iron-Man' franchise is now their cash-cow. Maybe this spidey will be decent. I do like Emma Stone.
None of them will ever top "The Dark Knight" though....ever.

Apparently, Mary Jane isn't a character in this movie. Just Gwen Stacy, as Parker's love interest.

LWSrocks Wrote:Wait, what? They are doing spiderman without Mary Jane? You know, from the people I talked to, the problem with sm3 was that it didn't follow the comics well enough. If this reboot is to make up for sm3, then they aren't headed in the right direction. |
They are actually. In the Amazing Spider-Man comics, we don't meet Mary Jane for a long time. Her face was always cleverly hidden until we finally meet her when she says the famous "Face it, Tiger, you just hit the Jackpot" line.

I heard the Vulture was going to be the villain for this movie. Still in the process of being confirmed, though.
I would like to see Electro, myself

I want to see Carnage too. Venom was destroyed in the last movie series, hopefully they don't kill off EVERY villain at the end of the movie, like the last series.
They killed great ones like Goblin, Dr. Octopus, and Venom. Left only Sandman alive and whatever "New Goblin" is, died too. What happened to the Hobgoblin anyways?
I liked Franco as Harry though.
Topher Grace sucked as Venom, In my opinion. I want to see someone who isn't a comedic actor play Venom.
They should keep Venom alive in this series. Goblin would be awesome to have alive too.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pillwhere to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online "Reveal your creation date or I will disassemble your code one operation at a time!" |

LWSrocks Wrote:Yeah, but this time don't let Venom be too over the top or cheesy. Goblin was OK, but he was also kinda cheesy, I don't think the actor that played him did very well but that's just me. |
Yup Venom was VERY over the top. I liked that actor's portrayal of Goblin, because he can play a maniac very well, but when needed, he could play the businessman type, too, though he didn't play the businessman side of his character very well, if you ask me.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill "Reveal your creation date or I will disassemble your code one operation at a time!" |

I agree with you. Fortunately, it's not a sequel. It's a Brand new series
So for all intents and purposes, this Thread should be entitled "Spider-Man 1", but since the new movie is currently Untitled, I thought I'd name it Spider-Man 4.
The Last one had Raimi as Director and Toby as Parker, this is being helmed by a brand new cast and crew. "Reveal your creation date or I will disassemble your code one operation at a time!" |
