That just sucks. I was wondering if there was any Tron stuff there. My friend, who used to work at WDW, says it could be because the park in Florida is much bigger than the one in CA, and they want more business in CA. Sometimes its like they flip a coin and say what will go where. You would think they would want to promote the movie in both locations to maximize exposure. Go figure on Disney's thinking these days though. I know if they did have something like the CA park does, I'd try to go. Being all the way over on the other side of the US and all.

I live in Florida, and granted that Florida was dry for at least a couple of months with no T:L items what so ever, there is actually T:L items out now(the toys), but I guess in this case, WDW and the Orlando area must be bone dry. One of the biggest cities in Florida with the biggest Disney park and no Tron related items but two pins is pretty confounding. Disney is losing a BIG opportunity not pushing as much of T:L as they can in WDW.

Um most Disney Stores in malls across the country have Tron Legeacy toys, shirts and hoodies now.

Disney California Adventure has shops with TL stuff, there's a shop in Downtown Disney that has lots of shirts and the hoodies as well.

IDK what the deal with Walt Disney World or Epcot Center is, they should have they same stuff in at least one of their gift shops by now...

I've just been annoyed to this point, feeling like it's just a "Oh, yeah, typical for my luck" kind of scenario, with the fact that 95% of everything TRON remains limited to a single state in the U.S. Now I'm wondering if there's something a bit more political going on, being that Disneyland is due to get TRON stuff, Disney Studios already has ElecTRONica (I mean... why? Isn't one TRON themepark in California enough?), the pop-up store is going to be in Cali, and the bread&butter of nearly every major modern motion picture, MERCHANDISE, is also being drastically limited to California. If it weren't for the ARG and the fact that we all can see the trailer and toys, TRON would feel more like an oldschool local public access TV show (broadcast only in L.A.) than a major motion picture.

I thought the merchandise thing was ridiculous already, and now to find out that Disney World doesn't even have anything... it's very odd. Almost makes me wonder if there is some kind of rift in Disney at the moment. Corporate political garbage somehow related to the Disney Studios. Because, what is really shocking is, Disney is a company that has always mastered marketing. If something is crap, nobody can repackage it as gold and get the whole world to fall in love with it. If Disney says we should like it, then we do like trained puppies. Where the Hell is that power now? What happened? Why is it not being shoved down our throats like the garbage projects that Disney spent 1/10th of the production costs on?

Darn it! I want those pins but I'm not able to get back to Florida any time soon.
