That Darth Maulish staff is awesome. I'd love to have a guard with each weapon so I'll have to see about making one. I already have an extra Clu katana that I can paint orange so that takes care of that.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

Spinmaster is not a corporation, but i know what you're saying. Legally, we were not allowed to distribute these figures. There's not really anything else that could have been done with them.

S2 and S3 2" are hidden in the outlands to me. I'm willing to pay $80 for S2 shipped and $100 for S3 shipped (USA). Or $60 for just Arcade + Gem + Castor (loose w/ bases). So for the people who say they are easily available, you could make a good profit.

(I'd pay $250 for the 4" Castor; not that it's available for any price.)

I was able to find Rinzler's non-deluxe disc on bbts.com for $10 this morning! Sorry, they are sold out now. I only found 1 from all the K-marts I ever visited.abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

Well, I'm in Russia, and I've seen them (bought Sam+Arcade). So... we're almost the arse of the world, and we have them. I suppose that means other countries must've got them too.

Sometimes random countries will get certain cases of items when a toy company has a hard time getting rid of them. Meaning, it's possible these never show up in large numbers in the US/UK/Canada/wherever.

I know there are people on these very boards that are looking, you could look into the possibility of picking up a bunch to sell online.

Lots of depressing news.

But I like the collection we got, at least. Not getting Castor is a total shame though.

Yeah if these do show up at retail at least I'll have a set to open. I'm not counting on it though because it's Suck Masters.

User897 Wrote:Dear Spin Master,

You suck. Thank you very little.

Oh that is no way to be. Think of what Spin Master DID release...

The various figures. Other TRON lines had 4 figures (both original and TRON 2.0) How many did Spin Master release?

The original series had two light cycles. We have had ... three? And a light jet, the grid runner, the three man jet.

Various size lines of figures.

The Air Hog light cycles were just a COOL toy. I mean common! TRON or not, a car that can run on walls? How awesome is that?

Discs. Both throwable, and light up. I believe throwable frisbees were released originally, but not light up. Or maybe light up, (since light up frisbees existed) but not like the lights and sounds ones we have.

Face it, Spin Master did AWESOME.

Would we have liked a Castor figure? Sure. Is it disappointing that Castor was advertised and then not sold. It will always be a sorrowful place in our hearts to think of what could have been when we see the back of the packages and see that figure there. (Would be nice if they could just secretly send those who participated in this thread a Castor figure under the radar. Hey, that is "Getting rid of the material"

On the same token, I wanted another figure for YEARS from the original movie that had just as much screen time as Castor, or less. But had about the same impact in the movie. He looked cool, didn't do much for the actual story, just a way to progress the story really. In short, I would have killed for a "Clu" figure. But honestly, glad that a Sark, Warrior, Tron, and Flynn character were made.

Other thoughts (as we appear to be wrapping up ideas on the figure line), the recognizer was epic, and would have been more so if figures could have been in it. Really should have been a figure transport much like the carrying case for Star Wars.

But honestly that is how I felt about this figure line, like I did when collecting Star Wars figures the first time around. I was excited about, it was fun.

There was one person's collection posted here that really inspired me. He had changed the heads, and had them all standing with the recognizer in the background. That really got me excited about this figure line.

So, thanks for everything Spin Master. You rock!

DISCLAIMER: this is not directed at one person at all, thougih a person's words below are started as example. Overall intension is a thought to consider as this figure line is coming to a close.

Umm, no. Those turned out to be a disaster with numerous problems and now the stores can't get rid of them.

Reading the overall tone of message that passge came from, I am convinced that the figure line could have had two more waves, but because ONE MORE THING was not done that people would have been unhappy. This series line comes out with like four times more selection than any other TRON line and all some can do is complain.

I really don't know what the other hobbies are for others here, mine is retro gaming and computers. I am used to seeing collections from years in the future. What made it, what didn't and why. What could have been. I guess I am used to the "Could have beens".

After a while you get tired of stressing over the "could have beens" and either make or craft something representing what could have been, or just say "well, could have been interesting," and go on with what actually was.

This Tron Legacy line is not unlike any other collection really. You had a strong push for the early first wave, with the second wave probably already basically made. They were probably working on a third wave when the first wave was initially released. Early sales might have been good because honestly there is a lot of the early stuff I can't find anymore. I haven't seen a 3 inch Flynn figure in a month or so.

Of course as the movie left the theaters, and the initial wow and Christmas season let up, as they working on wave three and looked into the setup and production, the returns didn't seem as worth it at that point, so that basically ceased.

And years from now we will get more details.

The point is, I have heard of figure lines that never left the drawing board. Or had short runs, or limited runs. I mean wow, this figure line was not a failure by a long shot.

And yes, it is a shame that after the costs that molding and tooling for the Castor figure that they cannot sell that figure. Shame they cannot modify the head for a 25% difference (if getting the rights were the issue) and sell at that point. Then later we serious collectors could CRAFT our on Castor head.

But yeh, you collect long enough, it really seems like for what made it to stores, it is only about 75% to 80% at best of what was planned. Brainstormed even less. And naturally we collectors love those rare items in a collection. Every collection has one. Ten years from now we will see a coveted Castor figure, the holy grail of the Legacy figure line, that somehow managed to escape that will what we will drool over at conventions.

The rest of the figure line is fun enough. Again, had a lot of fun collecting it, and gave me a reason to go to Toys R Us again. (Though in the end, while I did buy a lot at Toys R Us, I found most of the rest at Target)

Beyond the 3 inch figures, I did not collect the 6 inch figures (why... I have the 3 inch versions and there were more of them, and they match the size of my other non-Tron figures), and I have one 12 inch figure just because it was Clu.

I can say the 6 inch figures are gone. Wanted a 6 inch Clu figure but that one is gone. Actually barely any 3 inch figures. As for the 12 inch figures, Aside from adult collectors, who would buy them? A Sam figure and a Clu character, battling in epic size all day long. Kinda cool for a while. Or something that boys can use while playing with their sister as the sister plays Barbie. Yep, when I had to endure time with sister, at least I had Indiana Jones to help me through in that 12 inch figure. My only problem, sister would not let Ken stay dead and the storyline was non-action...

Nah, I hovered around the 3 inch line. As far as the vehicles went I think they covered that well. Some could have been designed better than others, but then, I remember Star Wars ships that weren't all THAT great, out of proportion, ect.

So when I hear things like "Suck Master", that is some serious ingratitude, and I almost see that as pouting. Rates up there with of a kid who gets the stuffed animal, the soda, the slice of piece, and the pretzel at the fair from Dad but doesn't get the cotton candy and suddenly Dad is mean, terrible, etc etc.

"Dad" didn't have to buy you anything to begin with. "Dad" didn't even have to take you to the fair.

You got what you got. Some were great and we'll proudly post them on the wall, play with them, etc. Some were not so great and to that I say "interesting idea but..." And some, like Castor and the die cast Solar Sailor, did not happen at all though advertised.

Ok, so Dad hinted at cotton candy. Oh well, you still got the stuffed animal, the pretzel, the slice of pizza....

"Dad" is my father, my parent, and we love each other because we're family, despite small problems. We're in it for the long haul. Spinmaster, however, is not "dad". There's no familiar obligation at all, and our relationship isn't based on any sort of love. It's strictly business... we give Spinmaster our money, they give us what we want. But in this case, they reneged on their deal. We bought into their product because of a promise for more, greater things. They didn't give it to us. They can say "hey, not our fault- we had to cancel because it wasn't selling!" but it was their bad business decisions that made it fail. In a business world, it's all about money, and I put up my money because of a promise that ended up broken. False advertising. If I had known Series 3 wasn't going to happen, I would have just bought my CLU/Sam, cycles, and been done.

Agreed. And thanks to Boba, this forum hit it's 100th page. Anyone else remember when there were only 17 pages in this thread?

That's the shop where I bought my Sam+Arcade set. There're no more of these sets now, but other S2 packs are still available. Sorry for the quality - only had a cell phone. And I know a couple of stores that'll surely have the pack with arcade, going to search them later.
I'd also be interested in any other Sam+Arcade sets you may find. Please let me know. Thanks
