You can't compare Spinmaster to hasbro. No pun intended but, they've been doing this for years hence better sculpts. When I first saw these at comic con, they didn't seem too bad though i might jsut open them & check them out as I normally don't do such thing but this might just be an exception considering the sudden influx of negative comments received thus far. Quite odd if you think about it. First it was oh shit! these figures are cool now recently it's more like meh, they're OK at most. Sure you can't compare them to SE, Necca, mezzco, hasbro, mattel (I can go on) or any other company as it is spin master's 1st jab at an action figure toy line (well at least with tron that is)

First off, I was not comparing any toy companies, READ my post. I was giving an example of how Hasbro first started off the Star Wars line back in '95 and look where they are now with it. MEANING that with the toys that are out now and what we've seen, Spinmaster has the potential with this line to move forward and hopefully do some great things with it. I notice you spout a lot of negativity on these boards, is there a reason for it? And PLEASE stop using the "no pun intended", just say it straight up.
Funny how it's always the newbs that are the most negative on forums.....

How is that negative? & me being negative in general? Maybe misinterpreted yes however, it's not my intention to start such matters nor am I looking to be called out as a bad person. I'm just stating an opinion regarding the aforementioned, nothing more. I did read what you had to say, maybe you skimmed through what my thoughts were? I'll go ahead & repost my original reply to what I've read in the recent comments from other individuals --> "When I first saw these at comic con, they didn't seem too bad though I might just open them & check them out as I normally don't do such thing however, this might just be an exception considering the sudden influx of negative comments received thus far. Now if you felt offended in any way, I'm sorry as I'm not trying to convey any negativity towards anyone. I like these things as much as you.where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online |

I'm happy to confirm that Toys R Us in Vermont has the Tron toys in stock on Oct 1st. I did manage to snag some neat items and they are:
-Flynn's classic light cycle deluxe
-Rinzler 3 inch figure
-Clu 3 inch figure
-Die Cast Flynn's white light bike
-Die Cast Recognizer
-Die Cast Clu's bike (oddly it was painted orange when it should be yellow)
I still need a few more items and want the larger Clu bike and figure. The $7.99 light disc is out but it is plastic and a standard frisbee to throw around. I did'nt get that as I want the electronic version.
But Flynn's classic bike is a beauty to behold.
I think I now understand why Clu does what he does in Legacy according to the package description. I ain't saying a word due to spoil anyone . |

I'll have to look at the Hallmark Lightcycle. Sounds like it's really good.
No offense, wheat king, but I don't really care for the figures. I do like "Clu's Sentry" and I got myself one of those. But the rest of the 4" figures aren't that great, IMO.
The vehicles are absolutely awesome though. I got the Recognizer, the $15 Flynn Cycle and the Hero Vehicle 3-pack. They're really great.

I have Sam and Rinzler. Sam is cool because he glows so bright and Rinzler is cool because he has a freaking Katana and two discs.
They also look pretty rad in Flynn's Lightcycle.on line abortion pill misoprostol dose abortion medical abortion pill online

The Sam figure is prob my fav cause even though not everything is painted accurately just about all the detail is there which amazes for such a small figure. ppl wanted to say u shouldn't compare these figuresd to hasbor cause hasbro has been around longer but honestly even with the 2 figures i have that are slightly defective, i'm Waaaaaaaaay more pleased with spinmaster's first attempt at 3 3/4 action figures than i am with hasbro's current figures for marvel universe and spider-man(sure marvel universe has awesome paint and detail, but the articulation on alot of the figures is ridiculously disappointing, and thier "Spider-Man" line of 3 3/4 figures is just an outrage)

a lot of folks seems upset about their figures, honestly I just glad to be able to buy them when I found them. Its gonna be evident that these items are gonna be hard to find once Tron comes out.
I'm more worried about Wave 2 coming out around the time the movie is release, so we have to fight against the Christmas rush and the aftermath.
The original Tron toys were not anything spectacular for the 3" figures. Again glad I was able to get them as a kid. Trying to not make the mistake of not getting duplicates as I'm opening one for my kid  and one for the collection. I wasn't expecting physically accurate figures for the small line up as the larger figures, it was evident they would be better.
If anything my only comment about Spinmasters is their choice to give exclusive rights to Walmart for the Clu cycle.
After never finding a How to Train a Dragon toy whenever I visited a Walmart, completely turned me off from buying.
Especially after finding out Walmart was the only licensed seller and the folks at Target and Toys R Us stated that they got inquiries at their stores all the time. Both Target and TRU I feel have way better support for their toys than Walmart.
If its not too late - let TRU and Target carry the Clu Cycle if the spinmaster folks are listening.

Wheat King, question:
how exactly are the 3 3/4th figures suppose to work with the light cycle, i just got my sam flynn cycle today and put the figure on it. is the figure suppose to activate the lights and sounds in some sort of way?

Only TRU had the toys today - and all they had were the Core figures, diecast 3-packs and the RC cycle.
I got one of each of the 3.75'' figures and the two diecast packs. I've got to be honest, I was unsure of whether to get the figures. After I got them and opened up Rinzler, I almost took the rest back. They aren't badly made, really. The hip articulation is weird and the paint apps on some are pretty blah. Not horrible, but when you activate the light up feature some of the black paint is sloppy. My Kevin Flynn looks like some weird monkey person. Mostly because his moustache isn't painted correctly. His face looks droopy and his left eye looks like it's painted too far to one side.
I was about ready to take them back when i realized that I really liked the design of the characters. And the light-up features are a lot of fun. These are clearly made for kids to play with. So they won't be for every adult collector. For a while I thought they weren't for me. But I kept them and took them home and opened them. I definitely need to repaint Kevin Flynn's moustache. That might help. But other then that I'm pretty happy with them.
The diecast vehicles, on the other hand, are PERFECT. I love them. The designs are great and they are well realized.
Hoping to get the light cycles, maybe the car and maybe one of the larger 7'' figures. We'll see how the second series looks. I'm hoping Corra looks a lot better than I think she will based on the way Kevin Flynn turned out.
I'm REALLY bummed that the figures no longer change the color of the cycles. That was such a cool feature. order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill

I've gone to my local Target, and my local Toys r us and neither had anything TRON on the shelves. Which really annoys me coz I called the other day and TRU said they would. I even traveled to walmart which is NOT local for me, and they didnt have anything either. I called the TRU a couple towns over and they have it so I guess I'm going there tomorrow. So annoyed that everything around me is inept at putting stuff on the shelves...abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

Well, if there are any Tron Legacy toys in Pittsburgh, they all must be at the TRU in Robinson Township because the Target I visited today was completely devoid of anything "Tron". Oh well. Well, my local TRU had some deluxe Sam Flynn Light Cycles, the race track, throwable Identity Disc, the wall runnin Light Cycle, a few delux figures and the deluxe Identity Discs for sale. They were sold out of all the die-casts V_V.
I bought a deluxe Rinzler figure and one deluxe Identity Disc.
Here's my brief reviews:
Deluxe Rinzler: *Looks* great, has excellent detail, lights up well.
It has a few little flaws and flubs, the main ones that bugs me the most is that the Batons don't stay attached well to the legs, and the right arm shoulder joint is loose. It could just be a goof on the molding of this individual figure. Finally, IMO this figure should of come with a stand.
8.5 out 10.
Delux Identity Disc: looks awesome, great accuracy of details, lights up really well, feels great to hold. In a low light or a room with the lights off, the light effects looks very very cool.
Now, the sound FX speaker was place in the spot on the disc that a person holds the disc so the sounds fx gets kind of muffled, that should be in the spot were the batteries go, and the batteries should go where you hold the disc (where the inner "c" ring face the person weilding the the disc). The activation button should of been on the underside were the fingers could depress the button more comfortably while holding the disc.
These are just design nitpicks. Overall the Delux disc is a pretty awesome replica toy for only $20

I see this quite about on Action Figure sites. People nitpicking the sculpts Ad nauseam. I'm of the opinion these are more than adequate and quite solid figures, yes with some limitations on the articulation, but by far fun figures still with nice articulation. Don't tell me you didn't want these to light up, that's what the Tron world is known for, the pretty lights throughout. I hope the line is popular, maybe they will revisit some figures you are not satisfied with. where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online
