The scuplt on the on the 7" figures they are very good, and highly detailed. The articulation is decent, but could of been a bit better.

Something similar to Kaiyodo's Revoltech figure's lock-snap joints would of so cool.

The die-cast and core vehicles are excellent and very very well done.

I hope that Spin Master will work to improve with later series of Tron figures.
I would pay $25 - 35 for a Tron figure as good as these RevolTECH figures:

I would happily trade the light up gimmick for improved articulation and better paint application. Use glow-in-the-dark blue paint for the details ment to glow.

IMO the 3 3/4" figures I give an 7 out of 10, and the 7" figures I give am 8.5 out of 10. Yeah they are good solid figures overall.

Since I did not see a Oliva wilde figure in the line up I decided to make one.

personally, while i would love it if the spinmaster toy was tri-color and the lights would just stay on, i'm glad to just have something that size. i understand things were done for limitations like cost cuts and battery life.

just to point out some detail i've noticed:
even the sticker on spinmaster's boxes have changed. the prototype yellow and black sticker seen on walmart's site mentions light color changes on the deluxe light cycle and a symbol on kevin flynn's light cycle, but in actuality everywhere i've been to it's been different:

so, i've just added side-by-side detail and size comparison shots of the spinmaster deluxe toy and hallmark ornament. i've also uploaded shots of the sticker found in disney stores to show the change -if you compare it to the box images seen at walmart (links above) to the stickers i've seen in stores (link below in my photoset).

and, there's zero stock in the walmart store i've been to verify if any boxes do actually have a rare tricolor labelled box.

on a different tangent, the ornament stays lit for like 20 seconds or so as opposed to five seconds(give or take) with sound by spinmaster deluxe toy.

my only major complaint about the deluxe light cycle for sam flynn would be the interchangeable helmet.
the light cycle helmet is just ugh...details aren't panted plus it was molded wrong. there is no way in reality a persons head could fit in there when looking at the visor..it's like the bottom half of it is missing
(compare the helmet to pics of the helmet on the halmark ornament or pics of the life size light cycle display and you'll see what i mean)

other than the the toy is friggin sweet

By now you should be able to find them at almost any store that sells toys (i.e. Walmart, Toys R Us, Target, etc..). Official launch date was October 1st.

to my surprise i found the clu light cycle at the toys r us in del amo.

i thought these were exclusive to walmart? -which happened to not have any tron stuff available in one of the physical stores in the area btw.

i got the last clu light cycle on the shelves and took photos of it in-store and sides of the box after purchase:

hey wheat king, do you know if this is a feature? when you have the deluxe light cycle on and hold the side button for a few seconds is it made to keep it going for a bit or is this a error?
