For someone left out of the TRON Legacy movie Cindy (Lora/Yori) sure is getting LOTS of great press. You'd think they'd want to include Cindy in TRON Legacy because of the many Caddyshack (the other popular movie she was in is celebrating its 30th this year) fans would go to see her in TRON Legacy.
Cindy Morgan, Moviefone, "Original 'Tron' Star Cindy Morgan Talks About the Movie's Legacy and Blowing Up a Golf Course in 'Caddyshack'"
http://insidemovies.moviefone.com/2010/07/21/cindy-morgan-tron-caddyshack-interview/
Bruce Boxleitner (TRON/Alan) asked about Lora/Yori in TRON Legacy:
http://www.ugo.com/movies/comic-con-2010-bruce-boxleitner-interview-pa rt-3 Sort of strange because in the ARG in SF they had been happily married for over 20 years.
Matt Patches: What happened to Lora?
Bruce Boxleitner: Well, we were married, and I don't think it worked out too well later on.
Joseph Kosinski asked about Cindy Morgan (Lora/Yori) at Comicon 2010:
Q: It’s great to see a Tron sequel with Flynn and Alan Bradley. Why did you not want to bring back the Yori/Lora character?
Joe Kosinski: Well, you know, our story is a father/son story, a story of Sam Flynn in search of his father who disappeared into the Encom mainframe 20 years before. When you make a movie, you have to kind of make difficult choices in what you’re going to focus on. For this story, we chose to focus on the story of Sam and Kevin Flynn as well as the kind of instrumental role of Tron and Alan Bradley in that story. The character played by Cindy Morgan is in the Tron universe, however just not in this particular story.
Recent funny article talking about TRON Legacy missing Cindy Morgan (Yori/Lora):
Funny quote, but nicely put, "So per this sequel, lemme make sure I understand: they’re bringing Bruce Boxleitner back but not Cindy Morgan? WTF? What’s Tron without Yori? That’s like Meatballs without Chris Makepeace (yes, I’m aware they made three Meatballs sequels without Chris Makepeace, and—surprise, surprise—they all sucked out loud)."http://www.crawdaddy.com/index.php/2010/07/23/hear-snippets-of-daft-pu nk-s-tron-legacy-score/
The most recent copy of Sports Illustrated at your local newsstand has a great Caddyshack article and photo of Cindy & Chevy Chase together. Here's the text of the article online:

No one knows about that. The movie hasn't even come out yet.X)
But, yeah I have optimism that's she's got a part in the movie after all the support she gives to the original and the sequel.

Lora Baines Bradley (who's wife to Alan Bradley) is *not* Sam Flynn's mother. She is still alive in the back story narrative of Tron Legacy.
Sam's mother is Jordan Canas, seen here in this photo:
Jordan Canas died in a car accident when Sam was still a young boy. "The film is about finding human connection in an increasingly digital world." - Joseph Kosinski

Shadow you're right about Lora. I avoided mentioning it, because I was trying to avoid spoiling it for those who still doesn't know/doesn't want to be spoiled.

C1, you might want to be careful how phrase your comments. You could have made the same point without using such "colorful" verbs.

Nice show of support for Cindy in these recent articles:
From Clint Morris at Moviehole:
http://www.moviehole.net/201033139-tron-tv-series-greenlit
Where's Cindy Morgan in all this? I don't quite understand the snubbing. She's not in the new film…. and she's seemingly not in the TV series….seems strange… right? Whatever the case, glad Boxleitner is back. Was a huge fan, ..."
From Christine Michele, Socialite Life/Celebrity Buzz:
http://socialitelife.com/holiday-movie-preview-popcorn-movies-ahoy-10-2010
The Tron of 2010 is darker than the Tron of 1982 and here, Daft Punk replaces Journey on the music front. Bruce Boxleitner returns, but where is Cindy Morgan? Tsk, tsk, Disney.
From a recent article at Movie Cafe quoting SciFi Wire:
http://movie-cafe.blogspot.com/2010/11/legacy-of-tron-changed-virtual-world.html
"The original character of Yori does not appear in the sequel. According to online media Sci Fi Wire: "Fans have been lobbying for actress Cindy Morgan to be in the movie". There are active campaigns online, such as "Yori Lives" on Facebook, which is independent of Morgan herself. "All I know is what I'm seeing online," Morgan said. "I am so thrilled and touched and excited about the fan reaction and about people talking about the first one and how it relates to the second one. I can't tell you how warm a feeling I get from that. It just means so much." No one from Tron: Legacy had contacted Morgan, and she did not directly speak with anyone from the Joe Kosinski-directed sequel."
Nice quote from a Cindy Morgan supporter on the TRON IMDB page:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0084827/board/thread/173255088In 1982, the special effects for Tron were quite extraordinary and, as a 15 year old at the time, I enjoyed the film very much. However, as a 15 year old at the time (as I said), I was even more knocked out by the quite magnificent Miss Morgan, whose skin tight body-suit in this film, looked more spectacular than anything the computer geeks could create with their multi-million dollar Ataris and IBMs. Surely Legacy will be the poorer for not having this 'special' effect? |

No she isn't. Firstly, the writers put a lot of sexual tension between her and Sam (just look at the posters!). And if Quorra were Sam's mom...wow, that would be CREEPY.
Also, the two characters are portrayed by completely different actresses.order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pillabortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion The Clu abides, man...
