Like I said. I am in a better position than 99% of the people on this forum to know what is actually happening on a day to day level with the Tron license. I work with the license. You know this. So why exactly is that a statement that requires "proof"?

By the way, I made no claims on you making statements in August. You responded to a comment made at ShadowDragon. I used your name as a way of making an example. It was a hypothetical scenario presented as a means of helping you understand why bringing up a months old argument is bad form. Not a very complicated concept...abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

It's a well known public fact that Slave Labor Graphics no longer acquired a license to publish TRON-related comics and that you no longer have a saying in TRON-related stories, so please just quit it with those 99% remarks...

You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

I'm not going to stop saying something that is factually true, just because you think you somehow know more about my business than I do.

Again, I don't need to prove something that is a public fact. I work with the license. 99% of the people posting on this forum do not.

I'm not making any claims here that require backing up.

What exactly is it you're looking for me to prove? Beyond my involvement with the license, which you know is fact, what statements have I made here that require support? I've not made any comment on the current state of a film. The argument on this topic that ShadowDragon was referencing was from almost half a year ago. The scenario now is not the same as what it was at the time of the original debate. Which is why his snide remarks are defined as "snide".

Hmm, I dunno. While I guess it's nice to see someone mention it: the reactions there are pretty much what I would expect from most of the younger generation. Cuz itz not da latest "hip" and "cool" trend.

And, naturally, most of them will be saying the opposite once the film comes out. Since, then, it will become the latest "hip" and "cool" release. So typical. Why can't people appreciate something for what it is, instead of what it's supposed to be. Just because everyone else thinks something is great or crappy, doesn't mean someone should jump on that bandwagon. Make up your own mind.

Have they even watched TRON? Wanna make a bet they haven't?

It's sad that none of my peers from high school knew what Tron is. Even at college no one even heard of it. You'd think the older students would know, but even they didn't...

I remember my second semester of college during the first week. The instructor wanted us to do the “Introduce another student” game. We would interview each other and list things from a series of questions, such as your favorite movie. Anyways, when the person interviewing me got to my favorite movie... Let's say he couldn't pronounce the title (Tron, of course was what I wrote), LOL. Also, at the exact moment he said Tron, everyone gave me a confused look. /:9

On a side note: I also remember when I use to hang out with my friends when they weren't too busy being busy. I told them that there was a Transformers movie being made, and their response was that Transformers is too “dumb” to be made into a movie, or that they never even heard of it (my dad said the same thing too). Now, after the movie came out they act fake and pretend that they knew all along.

I'm cold and calculating. Don't press my buttons.

How can one "prove" over the internet, on a forum that an employee at Digital Domain directly involved in developing part of the 3D digital effects for Tron2/TR2N told me face to face "off the record" that Tron 2 *is* in production and greenlighted to be filmed?

It's a persons choice to believe that bit of information or not.

I'm just the messenger, and yet I was shot down and continue to be shot at.

For purposes of their NDA, out of respect to them I can't name the individual I spoke to, and the other associates that have worked with that individual for purposes of privacy and upholding an NDA.
I can't show you a snapshot pic of them, or post a recording of what they've said, or give their names.
Sorry I just can't. Believe the info or not that's your choice.

Excuse me for even saying anything, sorry for not producing "proof". *shakes head*

My previous post wasn't to restart any "arguement" from months ago, and neither was it meant to take "pot shots" at anyone.

I mentioned no particular person by name.
It still makes no sense IMO to believe that Tron 2 is "not being made" or "not greenlighted." That's just my opinion it's not an attack.

What I posted previous was in-part a tongue-n-cheek kind of "see I told ya' so" and not meant to be taken as a pot shot to anyone. Sheesh.

Personally speaking (as I'm sure there are other forum members who feel differently) I don't believe bypassing a non-disclosure agreement by hiding your identity is acceptable at all. Those agreements exist for a reason.

No one is actually asking you to do that.

No one has been making this claim.

ShadowDragon1 Wrote:What I posted previous was in-part a tongue-n-cheek kind of "see I told ya' so" and not meant to be taken as a pot shot to anyone. Sheesh.

To be clear, here is the recent quote:

ShadowDragon1 Wrote:

3) Can we all finally admit that the film HAS been "greenlighted" to start filming.

Or are the nay-sayers here still going claim that TR2N/Tron 2.0 is "not really greenlighted" or some such?

Where is the "tongue-n-cheek" aspect of this?

That said, I went back and reread the posts from August. I apologize. I was mixing up our previous exchange, which wasn't much more than a debate at most, with a separate but related argument. There was a more volatile discussion on this previously that I thought involved you. I was mistaken, and my mistake cast your current statement in a much harsher light. So while I do disagree with some of your perspective, I do apologize (to Vram as well) for my reaction.abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

Okay, come on now. We're a notoriously friendly interwebs community. Lets keep it that way. There's really no point in fighting over the small details of this TRON sequel. We don't have to go completely insane over one little inconsistency or poorly-cited (for whatever reasons) piece of news.

Hmm, yeah, that's not what I got out of it.
One guys opinion is that there's a red herring in the barrel for having a legalistic approach, and the other is opinionating the circiumstances of both the readers, and his faith in the program. Then there's the guy who's knowledge is "trust me", "it is because nothing said it cannot be true", yet guessing as to what philosophy to contain it in. and thus, it is compelling.

I agree that they are all right, but I like to read it for what it is.. I may not want to remember it if it was any other way.

All right, I thought there must've been some kind of misunderstanding or confusion here along the road because, to be honest, I just didn't understand your replies LurkingHorror, so I checked this thread's history too and on page 39 (back in October) ShadowDragon posted the exact same thing and I saw you didn't reply or something... so I too apologize if anything I stated seemed offensive in any way, that was not my intention, and as TRON.dll says "lets not go completely insane over small details"... Everything's cool man.

In fact, I'm kinda 'excited' to know that the franchise IS alive and kicking in the world of comics!?... Am I correct? SLG renewed the TRON license?order abortion pill morning after pill price where to buy abortion pill
