I'm afraid this has nothing to do with 'audio quality' (yes, I just saw the leaked trailer online), but of a matter of 'fitting' (like you stated) the ambience and action seen instead. Maybe it'll sound right during other parts of the film, I dunno. VRAM - I personally didn't really notice the music in the theater. I didn't realize I missed out on the music until later that night when I remembered Daft Punk did it and by then it was too late. Then I was kicking myself for not paying attention to the music. I couldn't believe I couldn't remember any of the music!

I have a feeling that you may be noticing the music too much in the leaked video because the visuals are hard to see. You know what happens when you can't see stuff -- your listening senses kick in more. The mix between sights and sounds isn't as good on the leaked vid, so you really should see it in a 3-D theater so you get the full experience. The vid here kind've has music overpowering the visuals, and in a low-fidelity way; and that's not how it is in person. I bet you'll find the music sounding much more appropriate; or at least less dissapointing. I think my eyes were so captivated by the visuals and trying to absorb everything in the theater that the audio played it's role as a nice backdrop that you don't really notice and it's doing it's job of building tension or whatever emotion it creates in you.

I liked the audio. At least it didn't kick in with "Around the world.... around the world... around the world..." or "Work It, Make It, Do It, Makes Us, Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" (Daft Punk songs)

And this audio is much MUCH better than the staticy distorted fuzz fest of last week's audio leak. That leak was tough to listen through.

PS: I love Alan Bradley and Garrett Hedlund's voices and acting in this, even if it was just a very short glimpse.

Yeah I like how it's really orchestral, and then a blend of orchestral and ambient rousing quasi-electronica all blends together and seem to ooze out a dark cyberscape in audio form.

I can't wait to see the trailer again in HD online... I hope it gets posted online soon.

The leaked bootleg does not really do it justice.

I REALLY like the art tyle so far.

It's like they ignored the first movie and worked off it's concepts.

I actually really enjoy Tim Burton's films, and think they range from solid-good, to very good.

So I *really* don't undertand the Burton hate or the comments about AiWL.

From everything I seen from AiWL it looks pretty good, and many that have seen it have said it's pretty good.

It's not a "re-make" it's a quasi-sequel *adapted from* "Through the Looking Glass."

But I guess it's "cool" to either hate on, and/or be
over-critical of Burton's newest movie now just because the kids, and insipid "Emo"/"Scene" teens like Tim Burton's films now hm?

The trailer was awesome when I saw it at the sneak preview screening at The Bridge in LA on Feb 27th, and I want to see it again soo much.
