did anyone notice if in the trailer, the programs had different patterns? or were they all the same?
I noticed the part with clu coming up an elevator that there were red programs next to him ( I think they were red), but they all seemed to have the same pattern as clu, and also sam had the same pattern, but blue.... it all happened so fast, I couldnt tell. Did anyone have helmets? or do you think they only wear them now during combat/games?

1) The trace line patterns are a bit different among Programs.
2) Some Digital Warriors *seem* to have head gear only when in one of the games,
in the Light Cycle races they definately wear helmets.

I'd place my bets on that music not being from Daft Punk. Nearly every trailer out there uses music that is not from the movie itself, with rare exceptions (such as Star Wars or The Dark Knight).

Well, Hopefull the teaser trailer will come out this week.  The only way I want to see it is in HD high quality, not bootleg.

Joe Kosinski said in the Q&A screening in LA that the song in the trailer was written by Daft Punk, exclusively for the trailer.
But yeah, I agree normally this isn't the case. The Robocop trailer used the The Terminator theme for example.

I figured out a workaround: using Google Chrome, left-click the link to the video you want, and pick Open in New Tab. From there, wait for the video to fully download, hit the page menu, and pick "Save Page As" (or do a Ctrl-S).
EDIT: at least I think that will work. I'll let you know when it finishes loading over my slow home DSL. 
EDIT: Never mind. :-/
