I'm a new member here, so I apologize if this has been posted elsewhere. I found a couple of interesting comments posted by a user named "whitecarrot" on this site:

It seems he worked on the set in Vancouver for few days and talks about what he saw. Here's the text of his two comments if the link doesn't work:

I was working on set for this movie in Vancouver. Some of the sets were amazing the floors and walls all lit up in neon. Im curiouse to know what Flynns is because they had 2 sets with it one was an old run down building the other was an exact replica but on a street corner of tron. I also got to see some of the fotage of the movie in 3d. The whole film is being done in 3d so it will be very worth while to see in the theater. Olivia Wilde looked hot in her black wig and letherish light up costume.

The set i was on had like I said 2 different versions of flynns one was an old borded up version of it and then the other was on a street corner inside tron. They had to build the set in the middle of a field because no studios could fit a whole block of inside Tron. They also were doing filming of the 3 main actors in either a car or a ship. I saw a bunch of the raw footage of the same sceene for llike 45 minuites. Got kinda repeditive hearing Jeff bridges say "where did you learn that move" over and over and over. There were a bunch of people running around that were dressed like obiwon konobi. And also a bunch of people dressed all in black with some black helmets.

I'm not sure how true any of this is, but I think it's interesting nonetheless!

Dec. 17th? I was hoping that it would come out a little earlier in 2010 than that but at least it gives us something to look forward to around Christmas time next year.

Maybe they'll get ahead of schedule in the post-production and bump the movie up. If not I also bet we'll be seeing the HD version of Tron hit Blu-Ray around that time too.

I have a section in my TRON Archives called Cultural Influences and I have recently started a Cortana section. She's about as TRONish as anything I have seen over the years. Maybe she can make a cameo in TL?

Sounds to me as if Flynn's has manifested itself in the TRON universe??

This brings to question if the TRON universe has just metamorphsed into a virtual exaggeration of the real world. Or, maybe Flynn does somehow have the original laser inside his old arcade and that's what Sean found behind the TRON arcade game, and the digital manifestation of Flynn's serves as an I/O Tower?

Seth Rogen's superhero flick "The Green Hornet" has been stung again. Nicolas Cage, who was in talks to play a gangster bad-guy, has dropped out of the project after what The Hollywood Reporter calls fruitless negotiations with studio Columbia Pictures. The comes a week after filming began in Los Angeles. The movie has suffered a series of setbacks, from original director Stephen Chow demoting himself to co-star and then dropping out altogether, to a series of delays in the movie's release date. Most recently, Disney moved its long-awaited sequel "Tron Legacy" to directly compete with "Hornet."
