my dad got mad when he clicked something that was mislabled and (( I sorta walked into it..
..I look over my dad's shoulder sometimes when he's on a certian website)) it was a really discusting picture (And I can't spell) and um..

Glad you all enjoyed the gag. 
Sorry to get some hopes up about this being real. There are cool aspects to the idea, but I tried to make it sound a little too absurd.
The joke was supposed to be in the fact that it would require learning a lot of commands and odd syntax to get around, thus making it sound like a good idea gone wrong. 
Perhaps I should have said that we'll need to learn over 6,871 new commands instead of just 250+? 
Thought about putting in a blurb of a simulated old school baud rate (by slowing down network travel a bit) as an added level of absurdity, but the article was already long as it was, so left that out.
You know - there's always the live chat room, folks. It's ALL text based and a lot of fun.
Why not hop in there now and interface with other programs in real time?

I told my friend about this, and he loves the idea, too! But, he wants to take it one stage further: he's a programmer guy, and he wants to make an old-school, monochrome ASCII website, but make it a Rogue-like game, where you have to move your ASCII character around to get to the different pages.
I'll let you know if the site ever gets made (knowing Ash, it either will and will be absolutely amazing, or it will never even get started  ).

I like that idea. Your friend is a smart guy, and it would be SWEET if he could actually do that.
