This is so funny! The title says it all. So if this movie does well, will we see a sequal? Snakes on a Train

Yes they have!

But, at least this is not another been-there-done-that remake or sequel.

There are some big-budget remakes coming out this summer. They look pretty... but I could really give a crap about any of them.

To pick one out, do we really need another Superman?

I enjoyed the 70's version. It was pretty damn cool back in the day. Pretty much everyone's seen it I'm sure.

This summer there will be another Superman film.

Why?

Oh yeah - they had to take the same old thing from last (my) generation, repackage it with today's effects and modernize it some, and throw it back out at new audiences.

Sorry. I think that's lame. It will also make a ton of money. Good business sense, but lame on the creative side.

I imagine I'll be ranting about it again in another 30 or so years. I'm sure they'll do it again, in whatever form of entertainment is equivalent to today's film. That's what they do - rehash, remake, and repackage! Easy way to make a quick buck... or quick millions. Have to remember Hollywood is a business FIRST, the creative element is not even a close second.

Of course, one sequel I'd LOVE to see is a worthy sequel to TRON. But when it comes to recognizing great films and great concepts, Hollywood doesn't have clue. Well, at least more often than not they don't.

EDIT: Sorry for the negativity. I'm just so irritated with how Hollywood goes about stuff these days. They could make a bundle WIHTOUT rehashing stuff... or putting out dumb snake movies. They just generally don't.

My wife and I used to go to the movies about every week. We haven't been in months though because absolutely nothing worth seeing is in the theaters. I am THINKING about V for Vendetta, but it could possibly be bad. If anyone sees this please post a review.

Last movie I saw in the theatres was King Kong. :Porder abortion pill morning after pill price where to buy abortion pill

I used to go to the movies twice a week myself over here. I was one of the regulars at the this one place. Where I was known by name from the cashiers in front to the people working the back of the consessions stands. But nowadays. I don't even bother with the prices and the movies coming out. Its a repeat of every other movie just plastered as something else. What they really need in the theatres is original scripts from Original wriers like our very own Steve Lsburger.

But alas they are few and far inbetween to find these days for the big screen.

To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.

it's not that bad. [i don't have any comic book to compare it to]
i went to see it with my girlfriend yesterday, it's not all bad but could be a lot better. considering where the movie/comic is set, some of the things the characters say can be a little off putting [hearing an englishman pronuncing lever "levver" instead of "leever", just doesn't seem right. ], but that's just me being overly picky.

also, a note to all movie makers. never get Natalie Portman to do an English accent. it's terrible.

what else... aah, Hugo Weaving wearing a mask for the whole film. i feel sorry for him, because he couldn't really express any emotion.

and the wachowski brothers seem to think that british people say "bloody hell" a lot. that isn't the case.

i'm done.

also, that snakes on a plane film looks like it's going to be a lot worse than V for Vendetta. and that digital animation is really bad. it's obviously digital. good digital animation can't be distinguished between live action [that's my opinion]

I know nothing of the original comic that this film is based on, and only saw probably 1 or 2 quick commercials for this film in the week before it came out.

But am I the only one who immediately thought:

B For Burger King?

I'm sorry - it just looked really bad to me.

It looked like they tried to make something so big and with such a powerful message... I just yawned and thought "Burger King mascot plays Zoro-like character". I bet this film cost a bundle too!

No offense to anyone who enjoyed it. I just found it laughable (the commercial and concept - don't care to see the film).

Of course, this comes from a guy who thought Mars Attacks was pure genius. LOVED that film! The rest of the world didn't quite get it.

Not bad, just boring. Their concept of entertainment seems to be long drawn out fight scenes with bullets flying everywhere and slow motion kung fu. That kind of stuff is OK for a while, but they REALLY overuse it. I just end up almost falling asleep in their movies.

"V" looked like some promising sci-fi but I'd be willing to bet it's just long extended fight scenes.

actually, i recall about 3-5 fight scenes, lasting about 5 minutes max. a lot of V for vendetta is dialogue and narrative. this makes the fight scenes stand out more. even though one is more of a slaughter [ V killing between 7-10 people in the time it takes to reload a revolver... in fact, that's my favourite bit in the whole movie]. naturally, in typical wachowski style, parts of this are done in slow motion, but with daggers instead of bullets, but they still leave a distortion trail [of sorts].

i hope i didn't just spoil anything

It's really more of a movie that makes you think.

And they only wrote the script, didn't direct it. (Which is really a good thing... because eeek, the matrix sequels just didn't work.)

And Alan Moore has been known to disown films based on his comics anyway. He's done that twice before V4V... which is pretty sad. The movie was actually really good and got me thinking about how the government is supposed to serve the people, not control the people.abortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion
