Hi, My name is Max and I am a big fan of the Tron movie, games, etc. I have been visiting your site for a very, VERY long time now, and I just now became a member. The funny thing is, I'm only 15 years old, so I wasn't even born when Tron came out 8 years earlier. But, thanks to a Halloween special of "The Simpsons" and my Mom, I have now become a fan of everyone's favorite killer app. 
I now have started to write screenplays for a hobby, and one of the scripts I'm working on is "Tron: Reloaded", which takes place in 2010. Jet is now a newlywed, and head of the Game Development Team at ENCOM, where he is the boss of over twenty people. One of these programmers is [insert bad guy's name; I haven't thought of his name yet]. He turns out to be a corporate spy and Jet finds out that he is giving away ENCOM's video game trade-secrets. Jet fires him on the spot. Unfortunately, he wants revenge and decides to destroy ENCOM's computer; from within! It's up to Jet, his wife, and Tron to stop him before he decides to hitch a ride on the internet and cause more havoc!

Welcome to the sector! You might get confused once in a while with another program named sinistar that appears here once in a while. Haven't seen him lately, but he has been around.
Your story sounds interesting. Perhaps you'll share some of it with us at an appropriate time in the future.
I like that we are gettign a new influx of people here.

Greetings, Mr. Sinistar and welcome to TRON-Sector!
The Simpsons episode where Homer ended up in a very TRON-looking universe was awesome! When I saw it, I believed I was one of probably a very small percentage of people who actually got that (the whole "did you ever see the film TRON" bit to it). It wasn't until a few years later that I discoverd this wonderful site and fellow TRON fans.
I'm glad it, and your mom got you in to TRON.
You might consider changing the name of your TRON story though. "TRON: Reloaded" will only make people think it's a take-off on "The Matrix: Reloaded". That is probably not a good idea.
I was working on a comedy short that took place in an office setting a few years back. It was originally called "Office Mischief". I was talking to a coworker about it before it was complete, and she said "Office Mischief... oh, is that going to be like Office Space?" I immediately dropped that name as I did NOT want people making comparisons. I was NOT trying to make my own Office Space, even though that film was great. It was renamed "Just Turn Around" and no one compared it to Office Space when they saw it.
Just a thought.

Yeah, I thought about that. But the probelm is, if I name it "Tron 3.0", then people that haven't played the game will go, 'What happened to the second movie?' or something like that. I also wanted a title that doesn't sound kinda cheesey either.
I'll guess I'll think of a title later...

I've had a TRON fan film idea in my head for years now. It's not TRON 2.0 or TRON 1.5 or any number.
It's a name that I came up with because it seemed logical to the story premise. It's also a name I came up with long before TRON 2.0 was ever known to the public... or at least known to me.
I don't see why people would want to name their TRON story with a number anyway. That's just me though.
Funny thing - I've seen other people talk about their TRON stories and I remember one guy using the exact same name as mine! Perhaps he saw the brief write up I made about it in another forum about 4 years ago? More likely, many people who've pondered their own TRON stories have chosen the same title. It's so fitting for almost any fan fiction.
Anyway, I think you'll come up with a good title if you try. Who says you need a title before it's finished? I often title my projects near completion and produce them under a working title that is usually nothing like the official title they end up being.

What? I thought Tron 2.0 was entirely appropriate. It actually makes sense this time. The new version of Tron, version 2.0. It works for any media: Book, Movie, Game, or Comic.
Tron Killer App - which was originally going to be the name of the game - while clever, just won't grab people as easily.
Tron 2.0 is a better shot at a title, than Batman Forever . . .
