People could develop something like that on their own. Disney doesn't seem to be as rabid about protecting Tron as they do other Disney things.

Not to say anyone could make money off of it. It would have to be a strictly freeware type of thing.

And who wants to do that

Today marks the second anniversary since the release of Tron 2.0. Kind of hard to believe, isn't it?

So, I guess it's Happy 2nd RezDay to ?

Time to break out the new Sketch icons!

wow... The last time I visited this place Tron 2.0 was in development and getting Dave to talk was like extracting information from a wooden indian....... It was a few years ago and things have changed obviously. And I bought and enjoyed the game having a historical connection remembering the movie from my youth. There's a certain magic to that film... the technology was ripe for that sort of look at that time and no other time... a look which does'nt beg for elaboration and that perhaps won't be appreciated by a newer generation. Sad that sales have not been the best. And odd that the Tron "look" is just as unusual to the general public now as it was then... I at least expected a certain measure of financial success on the pc, with it's perhaps more cultured audience, but all the first person shooter aficionados seem obsessed with the war games... WW2 sims especially, and of course half-life, quake, unreal... Tron 2.0 was/is just so radically different from all those others.

So I stopped by after roughly a three year hiatus... In parting, all I can say is thank god Disney let the Lord of the Rings film rights go...

He always did a great job. Unfortunately, I only had 56k modem at the time, so I never really got to do much more than see his maps.
Since Xistence recently announced his project publically, I thought I'd plug it for him here.

Are we supposed to be able to see the signatures on the petition? I click a "View Current Signatures" button, but there don't seem to be any signatures. It just says there are 807 total signatures, but it doesn't let me see them... ?

If you click on one of the signature number links near "View Signatures" under the Google adds, you should be able to go through the signatures, starting with the number you clicked on. order abortion pill morning after pill price where to buy abortion pillwhere to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

Nope, I haven't given up on it. As I've said in the past, I'm waiting until it reaches 1,000 signatures. That's the goal. It's getting close, now.

As TheReelTodd said, you click on the numbers to see the signatures.

Once it hits 1000 on there. Are you going to send the link to them or make some kind of hard copy of this so they can see it? What would be the next thing to do for the game I mean.

VROOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!

To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.

Well, here's what I hope will end up happening . . .

I'll print out two hard copies, and mail them in. One to BVG, and one to Disney. So if BVG chooses to ignore their copy, at least someone else higher-up in the company will possibly see it. At the same time, the online version will remain so it can continue to collect signatures.

The hard copies would each be accompanied by a letter. I had planned to write the letter myself, but if somebody wants to help me with it to achieve a greater impact or give me a second opinion on what's said, then that would be great.

At the same time, I was hoping that other people would also write letters and mail them in. These letters could talk about anything they wanted. The movie sequel, the comic, toys, games . . . as long as it has to do with Tron in some way. Whatever it is that people would like to see, the most. That way they would all reinforce each other, and have a maximum impact.

Hmm... I figured clicking one of the numbers should show you the signatures, but it doesn't work for me for some reason! Ack. I hope nobody else is experiencing this issue, otherwise maybe there've been people thinking of signing but not seeing any signatures and so didn't sign?

I've tried in both Internet Explorer and Opera, but neither one reveals any signatures when I click a number. I've tried clicking several numbers, too. This is why it's been very confusing and is why I thought the site was maybe down...

I'll try to troubleshoot some more...

EDIT: The CGI script must not like me. As one troubleshooting step, I tried making all the links absolute rather than relative and trying the page again, but it didn't work.where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill onlineabortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

Hmm, that's really weird. Well, sometimes that part of the site is slow or even down temporarily. Most likely when they're doing database backups. So maybe you just visited at a bad time?

I love some of the comments people have been leaving for BVG.
