Well, I wrote out a tutorial on how to make a Tron 2.0 soundtrack the easy way, and submitted it to Tron-Sector through DaveTRON . . . but I don't know what's happening with it.

I used the same technique I explain in there, to create my own personal copy of the soundtrack on CD. The results were great.

That's a shame.

At first I wasn't going to bother with that. I just wanted to write the instructions and get it over with ASAP. But then when I burned my own CD, I thought . . . what the hell. Let's go all the way. I wanted the CD to look like a real soundtrack, not with felt tip marker scribbled on it in an empty case. So I made a front, back, and CD label. Which I think turned out all right. Really all I did was use some wallpapers and add things to them, but with my artistic skill approaching zero I'm just glad I didn't botch them up.

Yeah, some of them are redundant. Some tracks repeat material from other ones, and could have been left out. But I decided to put every single piece of music from the game on the CD, for the sake of completeness. I even added the music from the Tron 2.0 web site at the end.

I really do wish we could post all of this stuff, but knowing what sharp knives everyone at BVG posess, this site would be dead in a heartbeat.

I wish that piece had been in the game, at a higher quality than what we got on the web site. It's a wonderfully atmospheric piece. Very fitting for Tron.

I'm lucky I managed to save some things from the site before it . . . changed. Though it's still just sitting on my hard drive. Eep. I need to back it up soon, before I possibly lose it.

DaveTRON just informed me that - because the instructions I wrote don't actually contain any music files from the game - BVG and Disney should not have a problem with what I've done.

So now I feel comfortable in posting a link, to where you can find the instructions I wrote.

Maybe my memory is just a tad foggy on this one, but didn't you or Auric work for them for a while. Maybe there might be someone you know that you can get a hold of.... unless you tried that one already.... ^^;
