Can't risk it, and nobody answers my emails requesting permission, so we simply don't.

Maybe my memory is just a tad foggy on this one, but didn't you or Auric work for them for a while. Maybe there might be someone you know that you can get a hold of.... unless you tried that one already.... ^^;

What exactly did you think I have been doing?

I worked at BVG, and yes, I have been going to people I know who apparently don't answer my emails anymore.

Pft! Now what kinds of people are they if they can't even bother to answer a friend's e-mail? Unless they're paranoid about the fact that you work at a new game company, there really shouldn't be a huge problem like it is now. But then again, they could have gotten really weird about everything. Who knows!

I always heard that the media industry (The one that I'm trying to breakin to) was cut throat, but I didn't think it would be something like that!

In the industry's defense, I haven't really seen backstabing on the development side of things. Sure there are things like project cancelations, long hours, and other stuff which keeps it from being all fun and games (if you'll pardon the puns), but mostly everyone I've met has been relatively cool. I'll speculate, though, that the work environment at a large publisher might be quite different than that of a development studio. So, maybe an unfortunate situation like that is more likely to occur in that kind of setting. At any rate, I wouldn't get discouraged. It's probably a rare occurance anyway, too bad DaveTRON had to experience it.where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

Yeah, I should really add that even though Disney/BVG has screwed me over twice in my career, my experieinces at Activision and THQ Wireless have been absolutely amazing. Don't let my bad times at Disney keep you from jumping into the biz. Just take it as one cautionary tale from a vet who loves the biz.
