Totally! I also stumbled across playing on the Sci-Fi channel that night and it really is a different experience for some reason. It's like "Wow! I'm watching it on a television broadcast.. this is totally cool!" Some virgins might actually tune in and like it, thus expanding our base of appreciators!"

Well the Wednesday night event turned out to be not as much of an event as I had hoped.

We watch older movies every week at work but TRON was the first show I went to. We have a HUGE theater at work so naturally I thought that we would be watching it there. It wasn't until about 5 minutes to that I found out we were veiwing it in a small screening room. Still a 'big screen' but more like a video projection screen at home. DOH!

Afterwards we watched the making of TRON so I stayed late to watch.

The best part for me was seeing my chair in the movie. I almost forgot that it was in there!

Me and my friend Tom decided to put it on last night. Unfortunately we could only manage a portable TV with mono sound, but even so, it always seems better than the last time I watched it!

For some reason, it reminded me of the first time I watched it, about four years ago, when I rented it out because my brother had heard about it somewhere. I remember thinking it was amazing, but didn't fully appreciate how the visuals were done. I also remember thinking it was funny how Sark's antennae were made out of card
