You wish for something that ended up being corrupted by saying "It explodes" is granted!  But it explodes in a fiery ball of flames that resembles a giant sea lion cloud as it goes up. Sorry - I'm tired of the "mushroom" cloud thing so I went for the sea lion look. It could happen!

You're time machine is granted and you can use it whenever you want!
Of course, you'll first need to learn how to use it. Since it was brought in from the future, and came with its own library of "Learning How to Use Your Personal Time Machine" holographic instructions - you had better get started! Of course, you'll need your own holographic projector to play the instructions... the time machine looks pretty complex! Yeah... lots of controls and multi-dimensional arrays of space-time coordinates to program just right!
Perhaps you should have just wished for a Delorean, a flux capacitor, and "Mr. Fusion"!
I wish I could broadcast my thoughts like a TV signal! What great, tripped out entertainment that would be!

Granted, but at around about the same time, the entire population of the world is driven to insanity - diagnosed by doctors as a Tron overdose. Todd to this day claims that the two incidents are entirely unrelated.

The brains of the world were TRONified!
But too many of the brains had such a short attention span, that TRONification was quicly overshadowed by whats-that-over-there-ification.
