There are more hours in the day, but there remains 365 days a year. Because of this, our calendars become horribly missynched and so scientists develop a clever plan to move Earth forwards in it's orbit to account for the extra time. Unfortunately, after they strapped the rocket engines on, they forgot about rotation of the earth, and so when they activated, Earth was launched straight towards the sun! The entire planet is cooked alive!

You actually play guitar very well but as your skill grow so does the type of strings you choose to use until you think you are good enough to play using the razor sharp STRINGS OF DEATH. Sadly, you play one chord and lop off all the fingers on your hand.

Your not wishing for anything is granted, but you end up bored and fall asleep, missing your favorite TV show. This starts a chain reaction of unfortunate events that leads to your eventual institutionalization.
I wish we only had to work 2 days a week, and had 5-day weekends!

You get your wish, but you have to work two 20 hour days a week which means you sleep through three of your days off and everything is mostly the same as it was before.
