There's no way I didn't notice that one Pilgrim. I was there the very moment Encominternational.com got unveiled and I copied all the info there for my unofficial chronology... but this is not the thread to discuss this so lets get back to topic... (However I agree with you that there are contradictions...)
For instance, in TRON: the Betrayal, it's implied that Sam was born in April, 1983, right? The "official" chronology states the events in the movie happened in 1982. Now, in the original TRON movie we see the date September 22nd...
So you're telling me that with this recent hyper-shocking real life experience in the digital realm Kevin Flynn got this woman Jordan, the love of his life after Lora, pregnant immediately thereafter?
You do the math, cause I'm not buying that one...
But if you told me that the events in the movie happened in 1981... well... that'd be another story...where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

Never mind my earlier post. I just re-read my T:B comic book...
Although there are no specific dates, what's implied is that Jordan got pregnant some time before April... her 'belly' is not that big in those panels... months pass and then Sam is born around November or December, 1983.where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

PROGRAMS,
Please don't get me wrong, but I feel like ONLY the movies (the two TRON movies --- oh my God, I'm not yet accustomed to think about TRON as a "series" and not a standalone masterpiece acman: ) can "constitute" a definitive continuity --- videogames, games, comics, viral marketing, to me they don't count. It's my perspective. What you see on-screen is what you get as continuity, the rest are mere interpretations from different authors.
About CLU 2.0 and FLYNN: is it me, or that is a critical metaphor of our "status" on Earth and our God; a God who created us and is elsewhere anyway, not "caring" about his creations?
is program's best friend. Don't betray it --- NEVER! |

You're thinking of the biblical reference of God creating Lucifer as his first angel in whom rebelled thinking he was the perfect creation and jealous of God's creation of humankind because of their evolution. CLUcifer (pun intended) got clever and got the upper hand on Flynn while Tron (a la Michael the Archangel) probably got appropriated or seduced to the dark side.
I don't think Clu fears just the ISOs, but rather is also envious of their ability to be autonomous and independent of a user. |

I'm not saying that Clu got Lora pregnant. No. I was trying to say that when Clu saw that Flynn got a 'phone call' from Jordan from the real world, he realized that he got lied to and probably figured out a way to contact Jordan from the Grid to rile things up. After all, he looks just like Flynn and carries the same voice. He could easily pose as Flynn if he wanted to.
What was very interesting in the comic is that Clu 2.0 did not want to see Flynn's Olympus (his real world) and yet, I wonder if he was actually lying about it and did want to. This might be why Flynn voluntarily stayed in the Grid for 25 years to keep an eye out on Clu to prevent him from going to the real world, protecting his son and Clu, on the other hand, keeping an eye on Flynn so he does'nt leave.
It was like a 25 year stalemate of sorts, if you think about it. Something had to give. Enter Sam. If Clu said he was 'very, very happy' to see him, it means something that he really did want to see his 'brother' all those years and Flynn, I'm sure, forbade him from doing so.
Sam was born in 1983 which was mentioned on the ARG site or other sources, but Jordan's death took place after he was born. Was the car accident she got into an accident or something more than that? That's what I'm wondering.
And of course there were contradictions between the comic, ARG site info, and other sources from what we're seeing relating to the sequel. I know that some of the info was taken down by the ARG site to cover up some spoilers and I think someone goofed releasing the info that Clu 2.0 was created in 1989 when the comic shows it was done in 1983. So, I'm not sure what to make of it. I'm not trying to argue on that but point it out.
EDIT: oh and here's the info on Clu 2's creation. It says 1988. In Marvel's Betrayal story, it's 1983. WTF?
http://tron.wikia.com/wiki/Clu_2
And then this:
http://tron.wikia.com/wiki/Abraxas
So we all know Abraxas' presence in Evolution does relate to Legacy. After all, the producers did say Evolution is the back story to Legacy.
I think somewhere along the line someone in Marvel screwed up with the editing oversight due to the pacing and it should be leading to Evolution. where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online |

Perhaps, 1988 is the last time Clu was upgraded?
Or something, but yeah, the chronology seems to be all over the place X_x

No, no, no Pilgrim... Forgive me for not making myself clearer... I never thought that you think CLU got Jordan pregnant... by no means. What I posted was just something I was also wondering regarding the story in the comic book...
Regarding what you state about CLU's "potential actions", I too very recently speculated (to my dismay and thanks to the dialogs in TRON: Betrayal) about the possibility of CLU 2.0 "wandering" in the real world... in this thread: http://www.tron-sector.com/forums/default.aspx?a=top&id=372399
Remember those 'albino cow' sightings and stuff?

Well, the problem lies in the language being used in Wiki to suggest he was originally created in 1988. One other site said '1989' on the ARG site, but that info was taken down very quickly, I think a few weeks after the ENCOM site premiered. Not a lot of people noticed it, but I did. But I won't argue since VRAM did'nt want to waste energy on it.
I think Disney needs to get their acts together and start weeding out errors, especially Marvel's editing staff needs to be cussed out. If I were Kozinski, I'd be embarassed by the Marvel gaff.
But how can Flynn bother to upgrade Clu 2 in 1988 if Abraxas arrives in 1989, especially the fact his "son" has decided to take matters in his own hands going independently. Flynn would'nt be able to do a thing about it, really. |

That's alright, VRAM. As for Clu 2's wandering into the 'real world', I've heard debates on this on this site or somewhere else that the idea of him crossing over to the real world was supposedly lifted as an idea from the abandoned Tron 3.0 game in which programs were going to cross over to the real world. Some people were afraid this was going to happen in the sequel. I hope to god they don't do it.
EDIT: actually now that you mention it, I remember someone posting info that some Flynn Lives members have reported Flynn sightings around the world. Could this be Clu 2 zapping himself around to explore? I highly doubt this would be canon because he would've literally walked right into ENCOM and start a $hitstorm after Flynn's real disappearance and turn Sam's life upside down again.abortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion |

Correct. That's my point. Kevin Flynn's sightings are now part of the "official" TRON continuity according to the timeline/chronology at the official TRON website. The only viable and logical explanation for those 'sightings' is that CLU 2.0 somehow found a way to represent himself in the real world...
An idea I too I'm not very fond of for some reason...

Of course there's a metaphor there my fellow program... just as in the original TRON. However, you got it wrong... Kevin Flynn DO CARES about his creations (just as God does) but it's the creations the ones that do not fully understand their Creator's motives in the grand scheme of things (just as in real life). And just in case you're wondering how do I know with all certainity that Kevin Flynn cares, lemme tell you that it's been pefectly established like that in the TRON: Betrayal comic book story you do not consider important pal...
By the way Pilgrim, angels (including fallen ones) were created by God utterly and completely with the ability to be autonomous and independent beings just as humans. But we all are not entirely independent of God. You need to check out the COMPLETELY UNOFFICIAL TRON TIMELINE!

Why do I get the feeling that the new Tron material is going to be a evolution is greater than creation story. If this is a metaphor, then it would go along the lines of God creates Angels. Satan falls from grace. Humans evolved and were not created by God. In a sense, that would make humans their own gods because they created themselves. Satan is jealous of the humans because they accomplished what he always wanted to; being equal to or greater than God.
Or maybe it is a belief in a god vs atheism metaphor. At one time a god based religion was necessary for morality but the human race has evolved to a point where faith in a god is not needed anymore. Clue represents those who believe in a god. Who are afraid of the change that is coming. They see it as lawlessness. But faith in a god served it's purpose and is ready to be replaced by this new change.
