Watching TRON tonight, and it hit me that Flynn kisses Yori right after they see giant Sark attacking TRON and discussing maneuvering to the beam to help TRON.
Then after the battle, TRON helps Yori down from the derezzing carrier. She kisses him. He says "That was nice!" and she proclaims "We thought you were dead".
Baloney lady! You knew damn well he was alive and you kissed Flynn anyway. Tramp!
I had to share that thought. I found it very funny since I have been watching this film for 28 years and only now realized it.

I only realized the same this year..
when someone pointed it out in a thread in the Tron Legacy section!
I also noticed NO ONE kissed in Legacy...
kissing in a kids movie? come on! lol
But gem did look very hot in that tight body suit of hers

in the novelization it's implied that programs don't kiss
after yori kissed tron he said "nice."
then yori said "it's something user's do."
the the book mentions something about tron thinking
he would not be comfortable with yori doing that
with anybody, even a user.
(as far as i recall)
i loaned the book to a friend. but somehow i get
the feeling she misplaced it
time to order another one i guess
the exact words might be off but i remember
tron's surpirse at the kiss and his thoughts on it.

I've always wondered about that too. I mean, Flynn and Tron are buddies by this point, yeah, and so Flynn's like "hey, I dig this dude, he's pretty nifty. I think I'll kiss his significant other." Really? And then after that everything's all cool, like you don't even really feel bad about it? (Maybe he jumps into the MCP out of guilt?)
I mean, if programs don't kiss each other, then I suppose we could say that at first Yori doesn't really know what's going on or what a big deal it is and why she shouldn't let Flynn kiss her (although she doesn't show any remorse either). I always hated that scene. Yori is my absolute least favorite character in the franchise (no offense to anyone  ) and I always thought her easily returning Kevin's kiss was a very slutty thing to do. I just wish we could have seen that scene where Yori has to explain how she learned how to do that

I was always under the impression that because Flynn had a thing for Lora, that's what he was seeing in Yori, and if Yori was really 'into' Flynn's kiss, it was just some Lingering piece of Lora's spirit in Yori that was doing so.

Didn't Cindy Morgan give her view that Lora loved Flynn at one time and therefore Yori would be attracted to him but not know why. I don't think it was meant to be a romantic kiss anyway, with someone who didn't fully understand what it was. And Tron benefited.
