This isn't the final draft so I guess the writers felt it had to be scaled back. but tron did not know why he needed to do it.

Flynn, as the User who knows both Lora and Alan, is acting naturally for him. But if as according to Cindy Morgan, Yori is attracted to Flynn because SHE was, and doesn't know why, then why couldn't Tron be jealous of Flynn, as Alan is, and Tron wouldn't know why either. They both seem to be reflecting their Users where Flynn is concerned.
I love how Tron insinuates himself between Yori and Flynn.

Yori looks like she's laughing at the two dudes getting all territorial. and, too, just from that picture--Tron's getting into Flynn's face, Flynn's all "wait, whoa, wtf?" and Yori's probably laughing at Tron too.
Tron's great, though. Notice HOW he does this...he doesn't just get between them and squeeze into that space--he actually kinda shoulders Flynn back as he walks between them, and only THEN does he turn around to confront Flynn.
Here's a question, though. If Yori's attracted to Flynn because Lora was into him when she created him, then why is she MORE into Tron? And, does that mean Yori also would've liked Clu?

i imagine tron and yori have been together
for a long time so they have a history together.
oh yori also crosses her arms, it could be because
of flynn invading her personal space. or it could
mean that despite the initial attraction yori might
still have reservations. (it's not yet a full-blown attraction)
but that's a guys opinion.
i'd be more interested on the interpretation of the women

Well, Flynn is being Flynn. Tron has been protective of Yori the entire film. Watch how often he touches her or shows concern for her. Maybe programs don't know what love is, even if that is what they're displaying. I know Tron trusts Flynn, but just not with his girl, oddly. Or is it the way he looks at Yori, since the three had not been in the film together until this scene.
