I've been thinking about this, as well. Since I'm thinking about trying to do some kind of Tron fanfilm or something, I've got several story prompts. One prompt assumes that Sam and Quorra have a child who is part ISO and part human. The story follows him through the real and digital worlds. Being part-ISO, whenever he is injured (by being shot or whatever) in the real or digital worlds, that part of his body derezzes and can regenerate on its own.

Though there is a lot of wacky stuff in that prompt, and I'd rather do something that allows more creativity and feels more true to the original Tron and Legacy.

One issue, though is that Quorra was materialized physically using Kevin Flynn's physical matter. All of her body parts and everything are physically there, and not digital.

For future reference, my idea never went into the concept of them actually producing a child. I just wanted an interesting main "Flynn" character.

No, actually I went through the entire development process from the concept stage through pre-alpha, alpha, beta, and so on. The story really heats up when the publisher decides that the project isn't worth the effort and shutters the developer. The developers then form a new studio and go independent. They finish the game and it becomes a best-seller on all platforms. Then, the original publisher sues the now-independent developer over something and is hated entirely by gaming blogs and fans alike.

Ohhhh! I get it! So... Quorra and Sam are having a baby but then Sam changes his mind and wants her to abort it. So they break up. And she has the baby without him. And then ENCOM tries to claim ownership of the baby because it could never have existed without their technology!

I think the answer to that can be found in the scene where Quorra regenerates her arm after Flynn removes that piece of bad code.

Imagine if, using what an ISO could do, an amputee enters The Grid, they have their disc read, any "bad code" removed, their arm or leg regenerates, and they're beamed out back into the real world completely healed.
