This movie leaves as much to the imagination as the original. Man it's hard to fathom Flynn was compressed down to fit in a VAX/VMS computer with about 1 MB of memory.
http://www.genetic-future.com/2008/06/how-much-data-is-human-genome-it.html Says humans are about 30 TB of data.
I think back about my old alma marta and it's vax/vms how much life must have existed in that thing because I could never get much to work on it. Word perfect over 3270 ick.
Tron 3 should be young Jeff Bridges waking up in the floor of the Laser Bay from a very long nightmare. A young Cindy Morgan stands over Flynn shaking him. "Wake up," shove. "Wake up, you fell back in your chair and busted your head on the grated floor!" "The guards!"
See this is typical Disney
But after all the smoke clears you'd see a circuit laden frisbee lying on the floor where Flynn was unconscious.

Um.. the Tron films are sci-fi fantasy, not meant to be a depiction of to real world science, etc... just saying. Let's stick to the "reality" within the films themselves instead of trying to force into it real world science.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

1) The Shiva system doesn't have the power to do that, it'd have to siphon power from the whole city's power grid (and more probably even needing a nuclear reactor) and
2) it would have to "eat up"/digitize enough raw matter to even attempt it.
~ The Shiva systems matter containers have finite space and could not contain all the neccessary matter needed, even in molecular form.
3) The Grid vehicles and weapons don't quite operate on the same physics as "real world" machines and would be inoperative if even just one ship was materialized.
Clu's "plan" was based on his very limited understanding of what he *thought* and assumed, while he himself would/could of made it over, I highly doubt any of the other stuff would make it all for the reasons I've mentioned.
Flynn assumed Clu " found a way to do it", but that also doesn't mean it would actually work, Sam just assumed that Clu "could take it all with him". Their subjective assumptions do not equel "facts" of what would really happen. |
You're right. Short of word from the filmmakers themselves, we have no way of knowing for certain what would have happened if Clu had succeeded. Still, the fact that Flynn seemed worried makes me think Clu was onto something. (I don't have a problem with the idea that Clu was working under a faulty premise, by the way. I'm just not certain that Messrs. Kitsis and Horowitz share that particular assumption.)
ShadowDragon1 Wrote:I think part of CLU's plan was to make a connection between The Grid and the digital systems across the Earth and send his forces out via digital networks.
People assuming there was going to be some silly "Masters of the Universe the movie" scenario of the Command carrier materializing in the "real world" IMO are very mistaken. |
I've said before that a 'Clu and his forces are planning to invade the net' scenario would have made for a better plot. With how reliant we are on computers nowadays and the recent fears of cyberterrorism, Clu's armies wreaking havoc on systems around the globe would be a threat most people could relate to. Unfortunately, the way the movie was written doesn't lend itself to that interpretation, as much as I'd like it to be otherwise. : /
I guess I'm just not convinced that the filmmakers will steer clear of silly or cheesy ideas in a sequel, since they already seemed to be flirting with some of these ideas in Legacy. I'm hoping they will, but I'm not going to take it as a given.order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill

My thought when the carrier de-rezzed when Flynn "blew up", was how many programs died on that ship? There had to have been thousands! I know some must have remained in the city, but that one program in the EOL club indicated so many were vanishing, there would be few left.

And I don't blame Flynn. But that would leave the Grid pretty much devoid of programs.where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

i see some kind of war going on. a resistance put up for the programs trying to get out and a resistance put up for the people trying to get in. and of course the military would want to exploit this. i think it would be a cool idea if programs like the vehicles and weapons in the computer world can be brought back and somehow 'powered' up and manipulated in the real world. maybe by some neuro-suit where the mind can activate these things and control them?

"A war, war of the worlds"
Probably going to be Master Control was recoded by young Dilenger who seems to be an adept coder like Flynn was. I don't think Young Flynn has graduated beyond script kiddie yet.
I rushed through Tron 2.0 but tried to follow the storyline. Be nice to see a good movie come out of that game. But Paul Blart (Kevin James) has to be the J.D. Throne.
Man I just hope they stay in the digital world -- regardless of what they've already planned or may plan -- which is the fantasy element Tron is famous for. This is the same problem that ruined Terminator where we wanted laser riffles and superior liquid metal monstrosities scaring the hell out of us. What we got was Batman trying to hog the screen from Perseus who was definitely the better actor. If I want scruffy vocal chords I'll go watch Clint Eastwood in Heartbreak Ridge for goodness sakes.
