Here's a first listen of The Glitch Mob performing their remix of Daft Punk's "Derezzed" -- a remix that will be featured on the upcoming TRON: LEGACY R3CONFIGUR3D Album -- along with 14 other remixes of Daft Punk's TRON: LEGACY score by some of today's most popular DJ's, including: M83, The Crystal Method, Teddybears, Moby, Paul Oakenfold and Photek.
This performance is from the recent Radius Festival 2011 held in San Diego, California (also posted on home/news page).

Hell yes love Glitch Mob, I'm using them in a few Tron music vids I'm putting together. If by some chance Daft punk could not come back for TRON 3 they would be my runners-up! this rendition is awesome

I have a thought. Does anyone else think we are listening to the soundtrack for the third movie. Judging by the 1982 era 8-bit graphics for the CD, are we looking at the title for Tron 3? Will it be Tron: R3configur3D?
Could it be that Disney has been planning this from the start, and that part of the budget for Legacy was actually spent on the third movie? I've been seeing a lot of "3" images around,  including a package of Tron valentines cards.
I know others have made this point on other threads. But, if this is the case, it is pure Genius on Disney's part.

The 8-bit is just a throwback to the original, a fun visual reference. The 3's in the title are Disney's brilliant idea to tie-in 1337sp33k as a cutsie way to get nerds to giggle.

Wishful thinking at best. Legacy had a real movie score, but these are just remixes. They wouldn't fit into a movie at all, unless the next one is nothing but club scenes. Any Tron sequel at this point will be YEARS off, and I doubt they'd take money from themselves by releasing tracks from a score that they'll try selling in 2-3 years time. Also, they wouldn't be working on a soundtrack for a second sequel this early. They can't possibly have any filming done yet, and from what I've seen, composers have the film available to them when they start composing.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

I don't think you quite grasp the purpose of a remix CD. This has absolutely nothing to do with Tron. It's a club remix for people who like this style. You shouldn't judge Disney for this at all.

Well, me too. I could catch some nice improvements in it though disturbed by the crowd. The only resemblance it has to the original Daft Punk tone is the background theme. Y'know, that tone that starts up in the beginning of the song then keeps playing till it ends. This is some brilliant work that deserves more than our shouts and cheers. I say, why don't we get R3CONFIGUR3D instead?! (though I'm pretty pissed that those are Daft Punk's scores they're re-mixing. But since the result seems to be satisfying, I say, KEEP 'EM COMING!!)

My thoughts exactly. I think we have some really spoiled and ungreatful people on this Forum. They should have their own Website/Forum. We shall call it "Tron 2.no", or "Dics of Tron".
I am AMAZED at what Disney has done. I was never a Disney fan until I visited Disney World, for the first time, in 2003. Just about the time I got the first buzz for a sequel. I never dreamed that we would be talking about a Third, and possibly, Fourth Tron movie. But here we are.
So, what has Disney given us? Tron Sequel(s), a Cool Soundtrack(most call it addictive), ElecTRONica(still running ,,,last I checked), Cool Tron Toys, a Cool Tron Animated Series(coming soon), Theme Park Rides(2013), and NOW, a Cool Re-Mix of the Tron: Legacy Soundtrack, by some of the best beat mixers in the world. And your STILL not happy? The first thing that came to mind, at the news of this Re-Mix Cd, was this being a Thank You from Disney to Tron Fans everywhere. Disney has given Tron it's long awaited, and deserved, Cool Status. Again, thank you Disney.

It's supposed to be an image of Sam Flynn with a 3 on his helmet. Having trouble using attachments on my G1 Android. Maybe you can assist. Just do an image search for Tron 3. By the way, Sam never had a "3" image on his Light Cycle helmet, did he?
