that sucks! (I once ordered a pair of soft blade guards for my skates from a place that were plaid because I LOVE plaid. I specifically ordered from this place because it was the only place I'd found that had plaid ones. They arrived... and... they were a different pattern. Didn't feel like going through the fuss of sending them back, though, esp. since I'd already had problems with the order [AND they didn't have the color of hard guards I wanted, either!]. But it sucked. Sometimes--no, almost always--when you order something specific, it's because you want that specific thing!)


Can anybody tell me the difference between the disc that is just a toy and the one that's supposed to be more hard-wearing? Like the difference between what the package says or how they look or something? Does the deluxe disc say "deluxe" right on it? (I saw a few cheap and was going to pick one up for a friend, but when I saw them I'd forgotten there were two different ones so I didn't pay attention to the packaging. So when I go back to want to know what to look for so I know if they're the one she wants or not; she's looking for the deluxe, not the less-expensive one.)


Also, I had no idea they had a 4" Jarvis until I saw one yesterday! Not that I'm into Jarvis, but I didn't know they made him. (Of course, it was only a couple months ago that I discovered they made the light-jets in the diecasts since I'd never seen them before. Most of what I've seen in stores has been the wave 1 diecasts, very few of the wave 2 at all. I don't know if wave 2 never even made it to my area, or if it all just went fast and/or they switched out for the wave 2 stuff as soon as it came in and they were left with a bunch of wave 1 stuff in the back later, or what.)

I got my deluxe Clu light cycle today. And I got one of the misprint boxes. It says Clu on the front, but on the top it says Sam Flynn. I have heard about these... Does that make them worth more? Actually some have been found that are correct but I think this happened well after they were clearanced out at Walmart. The ones posted were from Ross I believe, I had a look but never saw any. Pics were posted of the correct box top however.

One of those rare instances where the 'misprint' box is the much more common of the two.

Isn't it though? I couldn't find this one in any stores. All the walmarts around me have been out for a while. Target still has some stuff but I could never find Clu's. So I got it on Amazon.

Thanks for the offer Anon, but I already got the Clu bike way back when they first came out. Had I known they would end up shelf warmers I wouldn't have paid full price for them. But hey, it's tough to predict these things.
