Today I got:
A TOMY orange lightcycle that was SUPPOSED to be in mint condition from Feebay. It arrived with the edge of the side window broken off. It was also pretty discolored (there were marks where the color showed as original where the twist ties had lain across the cycle). It must have been exposed to sunlight for an extended period of time (the window on the box would have provided no protection from that). I contacted the seller and he refunded everything and said I could keep it. So I have the original instructions, the box is in rough shape, and I have the ripcord. If I turn the cycle around, it's mint on that side. rofl So it was a sucky situation, but it could have been worse. I'll just display its 'good side'.
I got: the mini-bust from DMR. I'm speechless. I think it's the best Tron item I've yet to see. I can't be happier! It even has a ball in the scoop that I don't remember seeing in the pics! I have #69 out of 3000, btw 
I got: the collectible lenticular card from Disney Movie Club for ordering Tron from them. WOAH. It's WAY better than what I expected! More joy
The only problem now is unloading the 2 Legacy Blu-ray+DVD sets (sealed) that I got from ordering the Walmart exclusive and the movie from the movie club for the lenticular. I'll worry about that another time.

Good news User! Glad the hunt had a happy ending at least!
I found a Sam with Katana yesterday for $10 at Walmart clearance. I picked him up for the collection. Pretty sweet deal for 5 bucks. My 1 walmart only had a couple Deluxe Rinzlers, 1 lightcycle and a pile of Vintage Flynn cycles. My only opportunity is to get lucky and hit it up right after they slash the price on the Flynn ones...

...a 25th Anniversary Edition of OG Tron! I know these have begun to show up in greater number on eBay, but I got mine from a used DVD/CD store here in the Sacramento region. The best part was I only paid $9.99 for it! SUCCESS!!!! I was so tired of dealing with the unbelievable prices people were posting on eBay.
Although I have the 5-disc set, this disc eluded me throughout the year. Glad I was able to find it, and in such good condition. If you have a used store chain in your area, give them a call - you might be surprised at what you find!

Yeah, you're telling me. I like buying my stuff legally, but when I go on iTunes and a song I want is "Album Only" and I have to pay 10 dollars for the album, I choose the other method of downloading.
Every once in a while I'll luck out, for instance today I disovered "Microlite" by Trophy Wife, but iTunes only had it on their UK store, so I searched and I found a UK music journal site that offered an acoustic version of that song, and a little more searching, I found the one I heard on the radio from another legal site.

^^^ yes, the place I got it from was an eBay seller and charged only 2 GBP for worldwide shipping!
Don't pay more than around $50 shipped....
