I would sugest they totally loose the biker perforation suits. the look and feel is so wrong it affeted legacy scifi status and made the movie too gritty and dark.

The endearing charm of Tron 82 was because it had circuitry and glowing lights. It had geometry. all this is very scifi. plastics, glass, liminusity, great futuristic textures.

Joe the director worked the camera well. story is pacy and not bad. BUT LAY OF THE CLOTHES. I bet the world of fashion is laughing at Trons costume because of the perforation and leather. If not because of Tron 82 circuit glow, i think Legacy might even do away with it and add ribs to it. Syd mead, mobius, pls someone from the 82 art direction team advise them the major Faux Pas.

If i am wrong then why are the toys not moving? Because toy collection is extremely aesthetic based. If the design suck, sales will be bad and have low resale value. Quality of Spinmasters may be an issue but not the main problem.

The Disc designs are only the few nice designs in the movie and thats why people are picking them up quick. Not so much of the quantity of it. In fact the kevin white is so much nicer than the other two because it had full white on white. the lower quantity compunded the problem. But its the nice disc design that made it scarce....NOT the storyline or importance of the Disc!
