Hey all, kind of a n00b here, but I'm a huge fan of all things Tron related.
Here is a photoshop enhanced pic of my program costume from Legacy.
Currently I'm in the process of completing my v2.0 costume and working hard on my Disc mods. I'm a member of theRPF and have come across this forum many times but never joined until now.
Good to be here!

Hey by the way, this isn't one of the Universal Designs leather Tron suits is it? I'm very familiar with David's work.

Oh, me 2! UD makes some wicked cool stuff, but no this is not one of their suits. This one is custom made by yours truly. It actually lights up with EL tape unlike the UD suits which are just reflective tape.
Here is an un-photoshopped pic of my suit and a couple progress pics:
Soon I'll be working on my new suit. I'm actually planning on sculpting the armor and casting it in foam latex.

The costume above doesn't have any of my hex fabric, but my next upgrade most definitely will!

Fantastic job guys EL tape is what I'm going to upgrade too as what I'm using now is yellow reflective tape.
The disc was a Rinzler deluxe Identity disc and my friend photo-shopped it to be yellow as well as the background. We are in the process of trying to replace the inards with a yellow band and lights. The jacket is a sports jacket we modded from Wal-mart for $15. The bottoms will be sports pants as well and I'm going to get black boots to mod with a yellow strip as well as the gloves. BTW thats my name not the David who worked on the film though my dad did work on a prop Light Cycle for Legacy.

I would love a unitard of that fabric as I'm contemplating a Rinzler outfit.
Great job guys, I love that photoshopped pic against the Grid skyline, Mrs RecoPilot thinks it's pretty cool too.

The jacket was found at Wal-Mart for $15 and on the jacket had a hexagon pattern already there which was awesome. Then we sprayed the sliver lines black and bought yellow reflective tape. Because the tape is see-through we put aluminum tape beneath it to give it an extra reflective surface and to make the color solid. after which we looked at different pics of Clu to get the pattern. When I finish the other half which is the bottom I'll post them on here . The disc is a deluxe identity disc Rinzler which we are in the process of converting to a Yellow Clu disc. This was a good way to do a cool looking though budget affordable program costume without spending thousands of dollars
Note: The disc sticks onto the back with Industrial strength Velcro and you don't have to worry about it falling off.

Nice job on your costume! =) I am creating a costume based on my OC (Aerial Zero) based on Quorra's costume design. Since I am on such a tight budget, I figured going as an OC I will have more flexibility vs going as pure Quorra.
Couple of questions: When are you selling the hex fabric and how much per yd?
How did you work w/the light tape, where did you buy it from, and how much did it cost?
If you need to PM me with answers/URL to not violate any forum rules please feel free.
Thanks for your help and rockin' costume! =D
End of Line.
