To translate, it basically says that in any film something happens (Act I) and as a result the boy meets the girl (Act II). Then the moon explodes (Act III) and we watch as they react to their surroundings and prove themselves. If it's a good film then then in the end the boy gets the girl and they live happily ever after.
Thank goodness Tron : Legacy doesn't disappoint on any of these levels. Neither for that matter, does Avatar.
So there.

There is another reason why I can't stand Avatar.
The name.
Whenever I talk about Avatar in a fangirl manner, I mean Avatar: The Last Airbender (the animated series) and people think I'm talking about the tall catsmurf people. Makes me crazy because it's like "What does an airbender have to do with James Cameron's movie?"
...I really wish he had chosen a different name.on line abortion pill misoprostol dose abortion medical abortion pill online

If I am going to see your movie don't assume I'm seeing because I need to be guilted into submission about the enviroment and/or given allegory of the plight of native peoples versus heavy handed corporations or the "White Man". I don't need every movie I watch to tell me something profound and Cameron doesn't seem to get that. |
Please, name us some films similar to Avatar you approve of. I'm curious.
And your last comment is laughable. James Cameron has not one but TWO
films that are appealing to the masses.

How is the media liking leftist stuff when its the SAME media
allowing your Republican / Right-Wing propaganda?
If the media was truly leftist YOU and your ilk would cease to exist !

Now who is wearing their political stripes on their sleeves??
Avatar wasn't annoying because it was a California Liberal sermon -- it was -- it was annoying because it was a shallowly-written, transparent California Liberal sermon.

I do not hate Avatar either.
It has a brilliant parallel world in which you can lose yourself over the 2.5 hours the film is running. A point which TRON Legacy cannot surpass or even can get close to Avatars world.
However, the highly predictable story was the big WHY????? of Avatar.
Me personally do like District 9 more than Avatar.
If I compare Avatar vs. TRON Legacy, Avatar would win in total with 9 to 8.5 points.
Both films are great though and it is sad that people hate Avatar just because it is what it is - a better myth than TRON Legacy could build up. Don't you think T:L lacked of a myth-like tone? (That should not rate TRON down, I love both films)order abortion pill morning after pill price where to buy abortion pill

Dune and Dances With Wolves are some films that Avatar stole the main storyline of that I approve of.
He actually has more than TWO films that appeal to the masses if you know his film history, but I digress. Perhaps you would care to explain to me how my comment is "laughable" when you haven't comitted in critcal essay on the subject other than taking pot shots at other peoples comments?
