I just want TRON as TRON to get more than a cameo. Boxleitner was always my favourite in the first film, and it'd be great to see him playing a major role in the films again.where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

Hey, there's an UPDATE! This comes from Collider:
Update: Brendon Connelly over at Bleeding Cool did some digging, and found a listing for something called Disc Roars on the BBFC. He deduces this is "more than likely to be the 'secret' teaser, and that Disc Roars is nothing but a smokescreen codename." I'm not too familiar with the BBFC, but I always trust Brendans, even if they spell it with an "o-n."
Disc Roars is 2 minutes, 51 seconds and lists Jeff Bridges, Garrett Hedlund, and Olivia Wilde among the cast. Wilde has a place in the three aforementioned scenes, but Bridges and Hedlund do not. If Disc Roars is the teaser, than the scope may be even bigger than we first thought. On the other hand, it could be something entirely unrelated -- a Tron: Legacy featurette or some kind of alternate footage that features the three stars. Time will tell.

Agreed! And since he's probably still floating around in Flynn's Grid, there's no reason we won't see him in all his disc-kicking glory in the next film. Haters are gonna hate, but his "I FIGHT FOR THE USERS" line in Legacy was truly epic.

There's a 68.71% chance you're right, but then again, no one can say "30 56, 99 are correct, limited 4 and 8 are missing" like she can.
*lol*
Getting Cindy in there purely from a "warm fuzzy for the fans" standpoint js good enough for me. Maybe not Yori, but a scene with her and Alan in the real world would be just fine.
Then again...

Nostalgia and respect for Cindy Morgan. Same reason I'm excited to hear of Dan Shor's involvement.

Disc Roars does indeed sound like a codename, but there's no way the teaser will run for that long. 1 minute, tops.

Oh, it's not just simple fanservice that I want Cindy in there. C'mon guys. Not only did Lora help design the digitizing software and Laser that Kevin uses but she married Alan she is a scientist who could contribute some valuable info to the script and not just be some pretty T and A who stands around like in Caddyshack for us guys to oggle. On the flipside she is Yori, TRON's babe. That and a damn good simulation programmer who knows how to pilot a Solar Sailer, or at least the first gen Solar Sailers. Who knows what important functions Yori could get up to in the new grid. Not only that but I want to see her reactions to the possible death of Kevin Flynn, both her and TRON are due for some truely pathos inducing dialogue on the subject and I for one want to see the drama. Hell, if Bernard Hughes wasn't dead and buried I would want him in there too.

I agree, re Lora, but budgetary constraints would mean we'd either get TRON or Yori but not both--the de-aging effects aren't cheap.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pillabortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

Quite true. And if they're bringing Dan "Hey Alan, can I have some of your popcorn?" Shor back (don't get me wrong, RAM was a pretty awesome character in his own right) then why not Cindy? At least Bernard Hughes got a nod with the DUMONT storage container that Sam was living in. As far as we know, the "original" Grid from 1982 is still in effect, seeing as how the Grid we got in Legacy was one that Flynn created apart from an actual system. What's happened there since Flynn liberated it from the MCP? Has it grown? Is it static? If it was part of an actual online system, has it developed alongside real world tech? Would Dumont still be in there, even though his user has since died?
So much conjecture... so much time to conject.

Oh man....Don't get me started on DUMONT.... I actually miss him alot. I just got TRON Betrayal and seeing him in there for a bit brought back the importance of his character. I don't know if he would have been repurposed in the new grid of Flynn's as all his functions were essentially updated to unmanned functionaries but I would have love to see what he would do on the new grid. Possibly have a grid retirement, or maybe be a consultant to other programs.abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion "Word to the Motherboard!" - IsoLine |

Haven't read Betrayal yet but played through the Evolution video game... what I'm still wondering is after Flynn helped Tron defeat the MCP and reappeared in the real world, was he able to use the laser whenever he wanted to go back and forth? If so, then why create his own Grid? Unless he wanted a controlled environment in which to observe programmed (leading to free form) evolution... but if he did go back to the original Grid, did he continue to interact with Dumont and Yori etc? Does Betrayal cover this? [ there is no spoon ] |

Yes...He took the laser and digitizing tech and shrank it down considerably. It doesn't go into much detail about it but he installs it in his arcade basement along with a new computer that will be the new grid. Like you stated he goes from Grid to real world and back frequently, and sometimes to his detriment. He created the new grid excactly for the reasons you stated. It was to be a test bed to see what a computerized society could achieve and how they would develop, as if they were a galapagos island. The original grid on the Encom mainframe eventually became obsolete and we are not really told much but we are made to believe that the ENCOM mainframes were mothballed while Encom upgraded to the latest in modern mainframes and servers. He took TRON from the old Grid and brought him to the new grid to serve as chief of security. That is supposedly the last interaction Kevin had with the old Encom based Grid as it is never mentioned after he builds the new grid and performs multiple entries and exits as it develops. In Betrayal, there is a small part with DUMONT where he basically recites the events of the first film in condensed order that led up to the destruction of Sark and the MCP and Kevin gaining control of ENCOM. It then goes into the prequel story of the new grid, the birth of Sam, the Isos revealing themselves and the betrayal of Flynn by a single minded and jealous CLU. Its worth getting, if not for the small hints at certain events and characters in TRON Legacy alone, but the greater story is also a nice piece of TRON memorabillia.

Well in Legacy we got Flynn, Clu, and Tron de-aged. I'm thinking that Tron will be kicking around in 3 in his de-aged glory. But I think that we could see Yori and Ram there too, just maybe not as much.

I understand that when things become mainstream, they become a little less special to the true die-hard fans that supported it in its cult status days. However, as something that I want to flourish and thrive, I think we need the TRON world to become mainstream. Right now we have a good shot at heading there and I think good things can happen in this regard. All it requires are smart storytellers, good film-makers and savvy and dedicated actors to make the world of TRON become an electronic wonder world that excites all ages and on many levels. It took 20 something odd years to get here and I have a feeling that those in Disney were really sorry that they didn't try harder back in the day for TRON, push a little harder in the right places and looked at the situation with the box office for the original as a glass half full thing instead of calling it a failure. What will be bad is if Disney gets sloppy with it's product. I've been sensing for sometime that the mouse was never satisfied with just being known for hits like Pirates and Alice, that they wanted a bonafide SciFi hit for the ages, and that TRON's story was just as prescient now as it was back in 82.order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill "Word to the Motherboard!" - IsoLine |

Interesting article that I generally agree with. But I daresay that the DVD release of TRON: Legacy is more high-profile than Dumbo's release in 2001, so it'd be a bit more embarrassing to include a teaser to a non-existent sequel on the TL DVD.
That said, I'm sure it's designed to gauge interest in a sequel.
As for TRON going mainstream? Yes, please! So long as it isn't watered-down and made generic.
