Sure, but why include it when it clearly suggests further developments in the story? Were no sequel going ahead, they would have shelved the footage and left it at that.

I love how they're getting all the old actors from the original Tron to come back. Jeff Bridges, Bruce Boxleitner, and now Dan Shor and David Warner? Sweet!

The teaser trailers sound REALLY cool, especially the one with RAM. I guess that's who Zack was? It's cool that Kevin Flynn tracked down the real life version of RAM, that's a neat concept.

And of course the Dillingers coming back as the villians, that sounds really cool as well!

Not necessarily on the script thing. Scripts go through many phases before an actual "shooting script" is chosen. This is probably a story set up so that a "narrative" can be created to focus the script writers into writing a choerent and succinct script for sale. Then that will be evaluated and if any touch ups and re-writes are needed then those will be done and then hopefully we will have a final shooting script approved and greenlit for shooting sometime in 2011.
